APRIL MARKET RESULTS
Sales continue to be strong as we head into the summer months. Overall, closed sales increased from 9,385 to 9,763 or 4% over the past 12-months. Sales activity in the $1 million and above category remains strong with a 25% increase for the same time period.
Additional highlights for April compared to the same month last year include:
- Median sales price increased 14%
- Closed sales increased 4%
- Closed sales for single-family homes $2 mil+ increased 56%
- Pending sales in Naples increased 17%

Dr. Beach Names Barefoot and Delnor-Wiggins In Top 10 Beaches!
Two popular beaches from Florida's Paradise Coast, encompassing Naples, Marco Island and the western Everglades, have been included in Dr. Beach's 24th annual Top 10 Beaches List. Both Barefoot Beach and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park are featured on the list at number two and number 10, respectively. The list is produced by coastal expert Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman, also known as "Dr. Beach." This is the third time Barefoot Beach has made the list. It was previously listed as number six in 2013 and number 10 in 2006, while Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is making its debut in the top ten. How High Will It Go?
If you must hit a shot over an obstacle such as a bush or a tree, you need to know the trajectory that your ball will take. Get behind your ball and lay the club on the ground so the butt is facing your line. Step on the face of the club so that the grip rises into the air. The line created by the shaft will show the trajectory of the club that you have selected. See if the trajectory will clear your obstacle or adjust to a higher loft that will do the job.
