This newsletter represents the end of my bi-monthly publication and a change to a more reasonable monthly release.  My intent is to have more time to work on my training presentations and to draft better articles for your reading.

Exclusions from regulation as a Solid Waste or Hazardous Waste

 

Secondary materials, if reclaimed properly are excluded from the definition of a solid waste and thus cannot be a hazardous waste.  View this short Power Point to see if this exclusion may be of use to you.

Emergency Response Information Required by the HMR

 

If you offer for shipment a hazardous material you must read these two articles.  The first identifies what must be included as emergency response information (here).
