Dear Friends,Sue & Ornament
Tre Stelle Di Lapislazzuli (Three Stars in Lapis) is the name Dale Chihuly has selected for this magnificent chandelier My Blue Dots has given to the Medical School at Stanford.  Installed now in its permanent home, these three stars in lapis will draw attention to this stem cell building and will illuminate the creative and innovative work that is being be done here. Thank you Dale Chihuly for creating this awe- inspiring work that will bless the lives of all those who visit this building now and in the future.

We continue to look forward to the Blue Dot Golf Tournament that the Ladies Group at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club will be hosting on Tuesday, Oct. 26th.  This tournament is to honor one of their members as well as all those who wear the blue dots.

The Holidays are just around the corner so when you begin your Holiday Shopping, consider giving one of our beautiful hand blown glass ornament to a friend or loved one. They were created to honor all those who wear the blue dots and are a unique, one of a kind gift. The proceeds from the sale of these ornaments supports cancer research.

                 Until Next Time........

      CANCER will be
                           CURED sometime
not NOW?

Tre Stelle di Lapislazzuli

The vision has become a reality

The chandelier is now complete.

Magnificent it is to behold

And visitors to the building she will greet.

Tri Stelle di Lapislazzuli is her name

'Three Stars in Lapis' she will be,

From the three blue dot - to three glorious blue stars

What a blessing for all to see.

She was created to combine art with science

For hope, health and healing each day.

Inspiring not only the research done here

But to all disciplines she will say...

'You also be creative in thought, word, and deed.

In whatever field of work you do.

For I stand as a creative force in your world

To inspire you to be creative too.

Sue McCollum
