Downtown Lincoln: An Outstanding Community
DLA Teams With Kopeli's To Show Appreciation
At DLA, we know the special things that can come from a cohesive and hardworking community. Our maintenance crew can attest to this notion, citing numerous instances of downtown pedestrians lending a helping hand. In order to give back, DLA has teamed up with Kopeli's to give a free cup of coffee to citizens who open their hearts and lift their hands for the betterment of the downtown community. "Nearly every day, there is somebody doing something to help such as throwing away loose trash or putting heavy bags in our truck," stated Tim Cole, one of eight maintenance employees. Thanks to Kopeli's the crew can present a free small cup of coffee to those who they witness conduct acts of kindness. Many people tell me thanks for what our crew does, and the cup of coffee is a nice way to say no. Thank YOU," said Cole. "We are a neighborhood, and we pride ourselves on keeping downtown clean, safe and attractive."
