Lincoln Games: Downtown places first in Vacancy Rates
In light numerous athletic events, if a
vacancy competition took place in Lincoln, downtown would place first.
According to a report compiled by Grubb & Ellis Pacific Realty, downtown's
retail and office vacancy rates are the lowest in Lincoln at 5.5% and 9.7%
respectively. Northeast Lincoln placed second in retail at 7.3% and Southeast Lincoln placed second in office rates at 13%. More..... |

Toys will come alive
as they make their way through Lincoln's
downtown on Saturday, December 6, 2008. The Star City Holiday Parade is
the largest holiday parade in the region and brings many visitors to our
community. It is with great pride that we feature "Toys on Parade" and showcase
some of our community's most talented and enthusiastic people to our live
television audience throughout Nebraska,
as well as our patrons on the street. The Parade will step off at 11 a.m. with

Randy Hawthorne places first at IFEA Event

The International Festivals & Events Association and Zambelli Fireworks Internationale have announced that Randy
Hawthorne of Updowntowners, Inc., is the recipient of the 2008 IFEA/Zambelli Fireworks Internationale
Volunteer of the Year Award. Through
his dedicated service and commitment, Randy has been an integral part
of Updowntowners for the past 12 years. As this year's winner,
he will be the guest of the IFEA and Zambelli Fireworks Internationale
