Luncheon and Awards Ceremony, to be held on Friday, October 31st from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Embassy Suites Hotel, this is a
reminder that the deadline for reservations is October 27, 2008.

The 2008 DLA Impact Awards: Join us at the awards luncheon to see who DLA has crowned as the 2007-2008 Downtown Impact winners. The Impact Awards are given to six of the following categories:
Business Leadership Award Recognizes a business or organization that has shown exemplary community support for downtown.
Downtown Champion Award Honors an
individual who has shown leadership and vision in promoting a strong Downtown
and building consensus for key projects and issues.
Residential Development Award Recognizes a residential project, either single residence or multiple units, which adds to the variety and appeal of downtown housing choices.
Significant Development Award $1 million and Above | Under $1 million These two awards recognize renovations, improvements or new developments that have added value to the property, enhanced the surrounding area, increased visibility and may be a catalyst for other investment.
Downtown Young Entrepreneur Award This award honors an under-40 entrepreneur who is growing a business downtown.
