| Greetings! |  Happy Women's History Month! With Spring officially sprung, it's a great time to celebrate who you are and want to become! What is the history and legacy you want to leave behind?
With all that's going on in the world today, it's important to remember that we are all interconnected, and need to come together more than ever as women, and as human beings to recognize our unity and celebrate our diversity in every area of life. TWM is happy to do what we can to promote this concept in unique and creative ways in order to positively impact your life in whatever way we can!
Since our last TWM eNewsletter we had our TWM 2010 Virtual Holiday Bazaar and a Visioning Workshop, which we will also be offering on April 2nd. In May we presenting our second annual TWM's World of Wellness, offering you all sorts ways to stay healthy and fit, including our 7th Annual Team for Revlon Run/Walk. Other events are on the horizon so stay tuned!
And of course we continue to offer you a daily dose of TWM through our blog, CHICKS ROCK! , the place for each of you to read about, comment on and even write your own post about topics relating to diversity and personal growth. (Be sure to subscribe via email or feed - and if you have your own blog, let us know so we can cross-post and send you some Link Love!)
As a small grass-roots nonprofit organization, we want to continue offering live events and other exciting programs, but cannot do so without significant financial resources. If you have been on our list for some time and enjoy reading these eNewsletters, or if you are just learning about TWM and support who we are and what we do and would like to see it continue and grow - please show it with your financial support .
We hope to bring you as much education, inspiration and motivation as possible to make the best of your life, so please consider becoming a member or donating at the highest level possible to help us keep on keepin' on!

TWM's World of Wellness month promotes the many diverse ways women can take care of themselves by exploring both unique and traditional ways of creating an optimal lifestyle, cultivating healthy habits and treating disease and illness.

On February 5th we once again offered our popular and powerful semi-annual workshop for a creative, transformative afternoon to help participants manifest their heart's desire and get in touch with what they really want. It's not unusual for participants to start new businesses, relationships, families or career paths as quickly as weeks or months after the workshop.
Do to popular demand we will now be offering these workshops THREE times a year!

|  TWM's Team for Revlon Run/Walk for Women's Cancers Saturday, April 20th 7am- Noon Looking to make new friends? Do you want to get in shape? Would you like to help others? If you answered yes to any of the above questions then join The Women's Moasic Team for the Revlon Run/Walk! We will be banding together with thousands of people on Saturday, April 30th to walk as one and put an end to women's cancers. Every step we take will bring us one step closer to the cure, with your help we can make this disease a thing of the past. TWM Special Women Writer's Event
|  Raise The Count! Women in Publishing Women authors discuss their experiences with publishing
and offer advice for aspiring women writers The Count 2010, a study from VIDA: Women in the Literary Arts, has ignited a conversation about why women are being published less than men. Their data showed that across fourteen major literary and critical publications, women were less published and fewer books by women were being reviewed than books by men. In response to this, three New York City based women's organizations, The Woodhull Institute, The Women's Mosaic, and Paradigm Shift NYC proudly present "Raise The Count! Women in Publishing," a panel discussion of women authors about their experiences getting published and their advice for aspiring women writers. ANNOUNCING: TWM's New Intern Elizabeth David

TWM SPOTLIGHT: Elizabeth David
We would like to introduce Elizabeth David to The Women's Mosaic community! She has just started an internship with TWM, and is looking forward to her involvement in the organization's ongoing mission to educate and inspire women.
Elizabeth hails from Southwestern Florida and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Affairs at The New School in New York City. In her undergraduate life, she was an International Studies major minoring in Women's Studies and was transformed by her study abroad experience in Florence, Italy. As a recent transplant to "The Big Apple," Elizabeth is open to all possibilities: "I am very excited and inspired to be in New York to find out more about myself and the career path that is right for me."
When Elizabeth found out about TWM when she attended one of TWM founder Kristina Leonardi's career seminars. "Originally I was moved by the description of TWM on the website explaining what being a woman means," she said. "I believe, along with the organization, that women have the opportunity to "recognize our unity both here and abroad, while celebrating the beauty of all the diversity that exists within and around us." Since these goals are compatible with Elizabeth's academic background and possible professional goals for the future, it easy to see why she became affiliated with TWM.
She is also looking forward to working with Kristina, the heart and soul of TWM: "I am inspired by her energy and passion for women's empowerment."
What does she see in TWM's future? "I foresee great things," Elizabeth said. "TWM has attracted many women of all cultures to events and activities...I think that with continuing these events, this organization has so much room to grow to a wider population of women throughout the city and throughout the world."
After discussing her interest in the organization's mission, it is hard to believe that Elizabeth has only just joined us. We look forward to her contributions to TWM's ongoing journey!
