Happy Women's History Month!  We hope that you are making 2010 the best it can be so far. It's been a while, so we wanted to fill you in on the latest happenings in The Women's Mosaic's world since our TWM's Fall '09 eNewsletter  .

On January 24th, we celebrated our 9th anniversary - our first event was a
Chinese New Year Celebration with 30 women at TaiPei Noodle House as seen in the photo below. We have since offered over First TWM Meeting90 events to a community that has grown to nearly 5000!  Thank you for being a part of making us into what we are today!

Last Fall we had several wonderful events that you can read about below. We also worked on our bi-annual in-depth INSPIRER Newsletter where you can read feature articles on what we've been up to for the past couple years!
INSPIRER Cover Shot

And of course we continue to offer you a daily dose of connection with TWM through our blog, CHICKS ROCK! , the place for each of you to read about, comment on and even write your own post about topics relating to diversity and personal growth. Be sure to subscribe via email or feed - and if you have your own blog, let us know so we can cross-post and send you some Link Love!

We have some exciting things planned for the Spring, including our popular Visioning Workshop coming up this Saturday, March 20th, our 7th Team for Revlon Run/Walk on Saturday, May 1st and also in May, our second annual Focus on Fitness & Health, among others.

In addition we are pleased to begin a new program called TWM on Campus at Queens College with our fabulous new intern Agnes Eshak.  We were of course saddened to hear about the tragic events that happened in Haiti and Chile, and hope to do events to help women in those countries as well, so stay tuned for ways you can become involved with them all.

Women are the key to creating a more peaceful and prosperous world, and TWM is extremely proud of the opportunities we have offered for women to learn more about themselves and the world around them, and how our website,TWM eNewsletters, and CHICKS ROCK! enable women to further connect to themselves each other and the world around them.

As a small grass-roots nonprofit organization, we want to continue offering live events and other exciting programs, but cannot do so without significant financial resources.  If you have been on our list for some time and enjoy reading these eNewsletters, or if you are just learning about TWM and support who we are and what we do and would like to see it continue and grow - please show it with your financial support .

We hope to bring you as much education, inspiration and motivation as possible to make the best of your life, so please consider becoming a member or donating at the highest level possible to help us keep on keepin' on!

As always we want to thank all of our
past, present and future supporters - we would not be here without you!

All the best,

         TWM's TEAM FOR REVLON RUN/WALK

Saturday, May 1st

TWM Member & Captain Mary Brower once again leads our 7th team to raise funds for women's cancer research! On Saturday, May 1st TWM's team will be participating in the 13th Anniversary Revlon Run/Walk For Women. We will gather in the early morning hours in Time's Square where we will don our CHICKS ROCK! t-shirts and await the kick-off to begin a leisurely (or not so leisurely) 5k stroll into Central Park. If you can't join us in the walk, you can join us in the fight by making a pledge or donation on behalf of one of our team members. Your pledge will help fund important research into the cause and cure of women's cancers, prevention, education and support service programs. Past teams have raised an average of $2000 for the cause! Every pledge will help bring us one step closer to a cure!
Contact Team Captain Mary Brower to for any question about the day!
