The next feast day in our calendar is Yom Kippur. It is said to be the most holy day of the year. It is known as a day of awe and judgment.
The fall collection of feasts (Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot/Tabernacles) especially focus on brother coming together with brother. (That is why we published our "Ten Days of Prayer" brochure from my book, Israel's Feasts and Their Fullness.)
Once we have made peace with our brothers and are at peace with our God, then we can enter into the time of the Feast of Tabernacles.
Tabernacles is a time of jubilation. It is called the feast of all feasts and represents the culmination of all things. It well symbolizes Israel's two sticks being made one in the Father's hand, it depicts Ephraim and Judah dwelling together, in their God, and in perfect harmony (Ezekiel 37:15-28).
Surely we all want to get to that place. However, it is an understatement to say that many things need to be accomplished before that Tabernacles feast will be fulfilled in all of its promised glory. Thus, I want to suggest a book that I think every Israelite would do well to read. It is an inviting book that will surely help us to know how to best accomplish the difficult task that now lies before us. It is written by my long-time friend, Ephraim Frank. It is the saga of his return to the Land. It tells how he learned to live in harmony with brother Judah, without compromising his life-changing faith in the Messiah. It also tells of how he met his wife, an Israeli Sabra and a wonderful lady named Rimona.
This book reads like a novel that you absolutely will not want to end. It is an encouraging and inspiring story; it will make you want to weep and to shout for joy. It gently reveals what the Holy One of Israel wants to do in the earth, now, even this minute, this very Tabernacles season.
Read it. It is a book that will change your life and fill your heart with hope.
I pray that the Holy One of Israel might Tabernacle with us in a more powerful way than ever before!
Amen and Amen!

RETURN TO THE LAND - An Ephramites Journey Home by Ephraim Frank
If you have a love for the Land of Israel and for the Jewish people, or if you are a non-Jew who feels a stirring within your being to return to the roots of your faith, then this book is a must read.
As a new Believer, Ephraim Frank could not explain what he felt burning in his soul. He only knew that he was being drawn, wooed by His God, and that he had gone on a tour that had forever changed his life...
From the farm lands of America to the Holy Land of Israel, this compelling autobiography is in truth a love story.
This touching testimony tells the personal story of a "stranger" who felt divinely drawn to both the Promised Land and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It tells of the birthing of a new and fresh move of the Holy One, while it gently reveals what the Father is doing in the earth today.
This refreshing account of one man's sojourn tells of the blessed redemption of the whole house of Israel; revelation unfolds on its enchanting pages.
Today, Ephraim Frank is a citizen of the State of Israel and is married to a Sabra (native Israeli). Together, Ephraim and his beloved, Rimona, have two children, Yonatan and Sehter-Hadar; and work in Zion to help restore the Kingdom to Israel.
Read this chronicle of Ephraim's return home to the Land of his forefathers and be encouraged, moved, and - above all - inspired. ******* Introduction
One day my daughter was working on a school project involving ancestry and she approached me for information about my side of the family. Prior to her inquiry, I had not given much thought to my biological heritage. So her questions began to stir in my memory past events. Once I began to review the history of my father's fathers, I found myself walking out a most unexpected and enlightening journey.
Starting down this path led to a year and a half long period in which I wrote 33 letters describing past episodes in my life.
Those letters ultimately ended up in this book. It is my prayer that these writings will prove to be a source of encouragement and comfort to others who are walking out their faith in the Elohim (God) of Israel and in our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).
Before we begin this journey into my past, I would like to quote from one of our ancient forefathers. This is what Ya'acov (Jacob) had to say about his Elohim:
"The Elohim, before whom my fathers Avraham and Yitzchak walked, the Elohim who has shepherded me all my life long to this day, the Sent One who has redeemed me from all evil" (Genesis 48:15-16).
After reading these words I often prayed that by the end of my life, or even starting now, I would be able to express with absolute conviction this same confession of our forefather.
Perhaps the realization that Ya'acov had is one that has to keep growing within us. Nonetheless, I do hope that the underlying testimony of my entire life will be one that tells of the faithfulness of our Shepherd, the Elohim of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya'acov. When my life story is told, may it be one that gives good testimony about the covenant promises that the Shepherd God made to our forefathers, and to all the "seed" of Israel.
