Each of us is in the middle of the story of our lives. For each one, ours is a story that is sometimes wonderful, sometimes awful, and often, a confusing mixture of both. Furthermore, we often don't have a clue as to how to make sense of what is happening to us. It's like we're holding in our hand pages that were torn out of a book, with each page representing the days of our lives, fragments of a complete story. Each fragment seems important, or at least we want to think it is, but what do they all mean when we try to add them up? If only we could find the book that contains "the rest of the story..."

    Is there a book that tells the rest of our story? Yes, there is. It is a "History Book" that recounts "His Story," that of Messiah Yeshua. It is a tale of human redemption, and it is often referred to as the "Bible."

    We each find ourselves in the middle of a "story," which word is rooted in the Latin word, historia, or "history." We all know our past history, but we often ask, "How do we have an effect on what will yet be written in the rest of the story of lives?" As for our story, each of us is destined once to die and to then have the story of our life reviewed by our Creator. He alone will determine whether or not we accomplished the purposes for which He created us. He alone will decide whether or not he feels that ours was a "satisfactory story" (Hebrews 9:27).

    Since this is the case, it behooves us to understand what He says is our purpose, to know now, while we can still do something about what is yet to be written, exactly what He expects of each one of us.

    YHVH is all-knowing. He, and He alone, is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. He also can do anything He wants to do in any way that He wants to do it. With this understanding in mind we note that a patrol that renders reports to YHVH is described in the book of Zechariah. The story about the members of this heavenly patrol reveals that YHVH receives regular reports concerning conditions on earth. In other words, YHVH knows what is going on. If so, we would do well to gain insight into the content of these reports. This information could prove helpful to each one of us as we seek to exert influence on the pages yet to be written in our own stories. For that reason, we will be offering insights into these "patrol reports." We also will make suggestions about how we might examine our own lives, even call ourselves to account, as we examine the end-time events that are presently shaping the world around us. Hopefully, we will present these matters as they are being perceived in Heaven's Throne Room.

    The first Patrol Report that we offered addressed Zechariah's quote from the men on the patrol. At that time they said, "We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth is peaceful and quiet" (Zec 1:10-11). But that was then and this is now. Surely if we could hear a current report from them it would include a statement like, "We have patrolled the earth and behold, all the earth is rumbling with wars and rumors of war."

    We seem to be at war on many, many fronts. The outlook might be described as something less than promising, even bleak in some cases. However, the good news is that there also would be some good news included in their report.

    For instance, if we were to give an account of our patrol, it would include the following: "YHVH, we are pleased to report that the Messianic Israel Alliance is continuing to move forward in its efforts to regather Your lost sheep of the whole house of Israel. They are helping to gather people who realize that the first step in redeeming, reuniting and restoring Your people, Israel, is to 'identify' them."

This article not only outlined the massive challenges Israel faced, and still faces to this day, but it also incorporated a plan designed by Scott Diffenderfer, the MIA Adminstrator. He explained how we could help lost sheep rediscover their heritage.     Our plan is to provide insights as to how we can take this challenge to heart and aggressively move forward in its fulfillment. Ours will not be a typical "Everybody, Somebody, Nobody, and Anybody exercise." By this we mean that, in the past, when there was an important job to be done, Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it, and Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it! Then, when Nobody did it, Somebody got angry because it was Everybody's job. And Everybody thought that Somebody would do it, but Nobody realized that the others would not really do it. Consequently, Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done in the first place.
