What Our

Clients Are Saying

We appealed on our own a few years ago and got no adjustment.  It was a bunch of government hooey.  Karen was successful on her first try with our appeal.  She did all the paperwork went to the hearing and got our value adjusted 17%.  Our tax savings was more than $1300.  We asked Karen to review our industrial property for 2013.  It's best to have an expert involved.

Property Tax Appeal E-News
Greetings!

On January 1st, each property in Illinois is revalued for assessment purposes.  Your Township Assessor is required to use sales figures from the prior three years to determine property value.  Remarkably, your County Board of Review uses a different standard.  If you haven't reviewed or appealed the valuation, your property might be over-assessed.  Never pay more than your fair share of property taxes!  Call me today!

IL Pension Funds and Property Taxes

From the Illinois Policy Institute

It is interesting to note that two years ago Illinois families started paying an additional $1,500 as a result of the 67% personal income tax hike.  Families didn't really feel that pinch because the state tax hike occurred at the same time as the 2% federal payroll tax cut.  That payroll tax cut has been rolled back as of 2013 and Illinois families are finally feeling the effects of that tax hike.
