So sorry that I'm late! This is the first time in over 5 years that I have missed my deadline (self-imposed deadline) of sending my newsletter out on the first of each month. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unavailable for the past couple weeks. All is good again and I'm back in the saddle. Look for my next newsletter on June 1st! Now, on with the show...
May is one of the most absolutely perfect months of the year in Puerto Penasco. The weather is perfect. Nice and warm during the days but the evenings are still fresh and cool. No air conditioning just yet. Maybe by the later part of the month or the beginning of June, a little A/C will be needed but for now, it's just about as good as it gets. Life here is good.
Still no activity on the Home Port but word is that the Federal Government has authorized the release of the next installment of funding so we should see some action again very soon. Even though this project has had more than its fair share of problems and setbacks, it still has the full support of the Federal, State, and Local Governments and everyone is pushing to see it succeed - just a couple years later than originally planned. Better late than never, I guess. More on the project below.
Work continues on streets, water lines, electricity, and all forms of infrastructure around the City. Most of the streets being paved are being done with hydrolic concrete so that they will last for a very long time. It is more expensive and a slower process but, in the long run, it is much better as they won't be filling potholes 3 years from now as often happens with the traditional asphalt paving style. The current City Administration is doing a great job around town and it really shows. Even graffiti is almost non-existent now and many of the spots that used to have graffiti now have beautiful art painted by many of our very talented local artists.
Puerto Penasco Mayor "Kiko" Munro held a breakfast meeting on April 29th and several of us attended. In the meeting, he outlined many of the ongoing projects, many new projects, and gave an overall "State of the City" address. The presentation was nothing short of super-impressive and I have outlined a few of the items that he discussed in the story below. Puerto Penasco is on the move!
Don't forget that our 5th Annual Las Vegas Night for Charity is coming right up. This year is will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016. Please make your plans to come and enjoy the festivities. Breakfast Meeting with Mayor Munro Outlines Many Positive Projects and Changes for our City
In a very informative breakfast meeting with Mayor Kiko Munro held for AMPI, the Puerto Penasco Association of Realtors, he announced with grand confidence that our local economy (including the Real Estate sector) will continue to grow with increasing momentum. I have faith that this new administration has the best interests of Puerto Penasco in mind, both for local residents and tourists alike.
Most of you have probably heard varying accounts of why port construction is delayed. The most recent scuttle is that it is due to misappropriation of funds by our previous administration. This is true in part, but there is more to it. Mayor, Kiko Munro stressed the importance of ensuring that the city is fully prepared to handle the growing number of tourists the departing cruises will bring. Being unprepared could be disastrous to our city's reputation and economy. The municipality has several projects in planning stages, and some that will be under construction within the next couple months. Here are some of the key points from the meeting:
- Water-Negotiations are under way with Pima County and SRP to construct a macro desalination plant here in Rocky Point, in order to provide clean water to our residents and tourists, as well as exportation to Arizona residents. This will create revenue for the city and many jobs for local residents.
- Emergency Preparedness-We need a local hospital that tourists can brag about, and the planning stages have begun. In addition, 2 previously closed police stations will be reopening, and our fire stations are being remodeled, and equipped with new vehicles.
- Seafood Processing-As one of the leading shrimping ports in Mexico, the cruise ship port is a huge opportunity to prosper in one of our strongest areas. Plans are under way to build a seafood processing plant, in order to serve the departing ships. This will generate millions of dollars in revenue for our town.
- Roads-New roads will be built to direct traffic flow straight to the departure port. Additionally, many roads in town will be paved and/or widened. This includes repaving of roads that were poorly paved initially. Additionally, the city plans to build a network of bike paths, linking major roads.
- Border-The city is in talks with both the US and Mexican governments about expediting the border crossing at Lukeville/Sonoyta. The U.S. is already on board with opening more lanes for high traffic travel times. Work is now being done to add an additional 2-3 lanes on the side entering Mexico, as well as high powered vehicle scanners to help expedite the process.
- Tourist Attractions-We will be breaking ground on a large city market, that will be architecturally modeled in a style similar to the famous San Miguel Market in Madrid, Spain. This market will be located at the end of Blvd Fremont, on your way to Las Conchas. This will also be the site of a planned macro-park. The city is also in planning stages for two local museums. One will focus on the Sea of Cortez, while the other will be geared towards the history of Rocky Point.
- Infrastructure -The governor of the state of Sonora, Claudia Pavlovich made a trip to Rocky Point last month, during which she has committed to investing 400 million pesos into our infrastructure and home port success!
There are many other exciting projects in the works! We will continue to provide updates as progress continues!

Cruise Ship Home Port Work to Resume Soon
Funding delayed after new state government took office
Sonora government officials say they are clearing up problems left by the previous administration in preparation for releasing more funds for the construction of a cruise ship home port in Puerto Peasco.
Construction of the facility, which consists of a one-kilometer jetty, terminal buildings and a pedestrian walkway at Sandy Beach, was halted by the new state government which has claimed the previous one had not met federal government reporting requirements.
It is one of many claims made by Institutional Revolutionary Party Governor Claudia Pavlovich regarding her National Action Party predecessor, Guillermo Padrs, who is under investigation in connection with missing funds.
But a meeting last week in Puerto Peasco, was given assurances that Governor Pavlovich and the Federal Government, which is funding the port, are onside.
Work was forecast to resume within 30-60 days.
The home port also came up last week at Tianguis Turstico in Guadalajara, where the coordinator of the state's Tourism Development Commission said the project would be "transcendental," bringing cruise ships that would serve the northwest region, the state of Sonora and the country as a whole. Antonio Bermen said cruise lines such as Carnival, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Princess have expressed interest in the port.
The market for the port extends beyond Sonora and into Arizona, California and New Mexico.
Its construction cost was estimated a year ago at 1.4 billion pesos, or US $93 million at the time. Construction began in 2013 but several delays have slowed things down. It had been expected to begin operating during the first half of this year. In 2011 Mazatln had been under consideration as the site of such a home port, but the plan was scotched after an upturn in violence.

For the fifth year in a row, the Sonoran Resorts will host a Las Vegas style night of fun gambling, great food, fabulous prizes, and lots of excitement for all. Please start making plans to attend. This event will be over the 4th of July weekend once again so you should all have plenty of time to spend a few days in our beautiful paradise and come enjoy the evening.
Hundreds of Puerto Peasco residents and loyal visitors are planning for this, the fifth annual Las Vegas Night for Charity, and brushing up on their Black Jack and Poker skills. Once again this year, additional games will include: Roulette, Red Dog, Chuck-a-Luck and Sic-Bo, all fun games played on colorful boards, so be sure to try your luck on one or more of those. And, don't forget to take a few spins on the Big Prize Wheel.
Prizes for the event are beginning to arrive, and, we remind you that if you're a local business, donating a prize for Las Vegas Night is an excellent way to keep community charity flowing while getting some loyal exposure for your enterprise as well. Just call Jim Ringquist, Director of Sales and Marketing for Sonoran Resorts and let him know you'd like to donate a prize. He'll send someone out to pick it up right away. It's that easy! Call Jim at the sales office (from Mexico): 638-382-8187; or from the U.S.:602-476-7511. His email is: rockypointjim@gmail.com.
Las Vegas Night for Charity wouldn't be one of the largest fundraisers for DIF, the oldest quasi-government charity, if it weren't for the staff and friends of Sonoran Resorts who volunteer their time to make the evening flow smoothly. You can help also, if you've ever had an urge to be a dealer in Las Vegas-even for a night-this is your chance to try that fantasy just for a night. No experience is necessary; you'll be trained by one of our experienced volunteers. Again, just let Jim know of your interest and he'll let you know when we meet.
The fun night begins at 7:00PM and your $35 dollar ticket will include the buffet, $300 dollars in "Charity Chips" and a raffle ticket good for the drawings held throughout the night. You can always purchase more chips and raffle tickets-with all the money going to charity!
So, Las Vegas Night for Charity is more than just fun and games (and there's a lot of that!), it has become an evening of memorable camaraderie and meeting new friends, all within the luxuriously appointed dcor and air conditioning of Los Volcanes Ballroom on the second floor of the Sonoran Sky Resort Beach Front Resort Condominiums. Where else can you have so much fun, helping so many, for such a small investment of $35 dollars! Plan to join your friends on July 2nd at Las Vegas Night for Charity!

Circus Mexicus Exponentially Increases its Fan Experience Every Year
Each June Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers bring more entertainment to their four-day Circus Mexicus Rock and Roll Festival. Peacemaker fans have come to anticipate a greater experience each year. This year the organizers have raised the bar to a level that is going to be hard to follow. This year could be the breakthrough year that Circus Mexicus receives its true recognition as one of the most unique music festivals around. Puerto Peasco (Rock Point), Sonora Mexico that has been the home of all 25 Circus Mexicus events, has a lot to do with how unique Circus Mexicus has become.
As Rocky Point has grown, so has Circus Mexicus. Roger has always liked using different venues throughout the event and as his choices have grown over the years, he has continually expanded the number of stages on which his guest bands perform. Since, even at a population of roughly 60,000 (plus 5,000 or more during Circus Mexicus), it's still an easy drive or taxi ride to the various performances thoughtfully scheduled around town. Instead of one huge area with one or two stages, fans get the variety of completely different places to see their favorites or one of the new bands that Roger adds every year. Geographically, no performance is more than 10 minutes from the last one or the next one. If variety is the spice of life, then Circus Mexicus personifies the spice. Peacemaker fans are the appreciative beneficiaries. Just when you think Circus Mexicus can't get any better, they blow you away with a schedule like this year with more bands than ever performing in more venues than ever in the most creative itinerary we've seen. Just for starters, this is the 20th anniversary of the original Refreshments debut album, Fizzy Fuzzy Big and Buzzy. Fans are in for a special treat as the Refreshments will reunite with Brian Blush on lead guitar along with P.H. Naffah, Nick Scropos and Roger Clyne playing their entire catalog in separate sets over Friday and Saturday nights on the Mexican Moonshine Main Stage. During two full sets, fans can enjoy songs from their follow up album, The Bottle and Fresh Horses as well as a couple of rare B sides tossed in. RCPM will headline both nights with original sets. Two different bands each night will open for theRefreshments and RCPM. The fun starts Thursday afternoon at Banditos with the first of 22 bands and entertainers in the four-day event. The annual Kick-Off party starts at JJ's Cantina around 7pm with three bands appearing on JJ's outdoor stage. The music will continue afterward at Bandito's until the wee hours. For all the details and schedules plus ticket information please visit www.circusmexicus.net . But before you do, here are a few other bits of information that have convinced us this will be the best Circus Mexicus ever: *Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts from Rockford, IL will be performing Saturday night for the first time. Miles is the son of founding Cheap Trick guitarist and recent Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Rick Nielsen. "Miles and his band have opened for RCPM in the Midwest and really blew Jim, Nick, P.H. and Roger away. Go to their website and check them out, their songwriting and harmonies are really fun to listen to," the organizers tell us. Rumor has it Miles and his band will be contributing a big surprise for RCPM fans very soon. In addition to the traditional shows at Banditos and JJ's Cantina, the 25th edition of Circus Mexicus will include new venues such as Wrecked at the Reef, Al Capone's Seafood and Pizzeria and Xochitl's in Choya Bay. Head Circus Mexicus organizer, Greg Ross confirms, "We're all such huge fans of Puerto Penasco, some of us have been visiting for 40 years. We want fans to be able to enjoy music all over town and not just on Sandy Beach. Someday we may be able to expand to more venues, but we need to take baby steps and keep things somewhat organized." Other performances on the Mexican Moonshine Main Stage will include The Strolling Bones, an all-star band lineup playing tribute to early Rolling Stones classics, roots rock from The Pistoleros and a high energy reggae set from Black Bottom Lighters. Circus Mexicus favorites The Black Moods, two very special appearances bySupersuckers front man Eddie Spaghetti, Jim Dalton & The Lawbreakers, newcomers Mr. Miraingafrom Orange County, CA, AZ favorites Aaron and Mike from Shurman, Elvis Before Noon, Whiskey's Quicker, The Zubia Brothers, Southwest by Midnight, Sugahbeat, Enormodome and Jason Boots will make appearances throughout the weekend. The weekend closes out at Banditos Sunday night with Borracho Domingo, Jim Dalton's now traditional Sunday Hangover show. Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance at www.circusmexicus.net to save money and avoid time in line at the door. Condo reservations can still be made at various Sandy Beach condos and Las Conchas homes by calling RPR Mexico toll free at 866-483-3379. If Las Palomas is more your style, book direct at www.laspalomasresort.net . New to Circus Mexicus? Just about everything you need to know about the event can be found at www.circusmexicus.net including travel info, charitable efforts, band line up and performance schedules. Peacemakers (as in the fans) are expected to travel from at least 30 different states and several countries as has been the trend the last few years. The band asks their loyal fan base to join them in helping out a few of their favorite local charities by bringing household supplies, cash and children's toiletries for La Casa de Esperanza Children's Home, new and gently used sporting goods for the Penasco Youth Sports Foundation and cash to support the raffle RCPM produces with cash going to DIF, an organization set up to support families in need throughout Penasco. Says Greg, "We're all blown away with the generosity increasing each year. Mayor Munro personally thanked the band and its fans recently for supporting the community and its citizens in need." Circus Mexicus began in 2000 and the once bi-annual event is celebrating its 25th show this year. Greg summed up the success of Circus Mexicus over the years, "It's been a fun ride for the band. They've battled monsoon storms, swine flus, media misinformation and border complications but the fans always came through with their support. Younger faces are now popping up attending the shows with their parents which was never expected when they started the event 16 years ago." Look for our last minute lineup and schedule of performances in next month's newsletter and in the meantime check out www.circusmexicus.net for all the details.

Ruidoso Now Has Sister City in Mexico
Ruidoso News Village leaders met Saturday evening to talk about the Mexico problem, and nobody said a single word about higher border walls or deportations. On the contrary, the problem under discussion was how to establish closer cross-border relations, and the solution was already at hand - a sister city for Ruidoso south of the border. The new relation is Puerto Peasco, but its mayor, Kiko Munro, prefers to use the name the site was first given by a retired British naval officer looking for pearls and precious metals there nearly 200 years ago. Robert William Hale Hardy scanned the barren shoreline through his telescope in 1826 and christened it Rocky Point. "We're branding our hometown so we can make it an international site for visitors and investors," Munro explained during a reception at the Elegante Lodge near the convention center. "Rocky Point is easier to remember." Munro's answer suggests why village development director Greg Cory decided years ago that Rocky Point and Ruidoso would be ideal partners and allies with a lot to learn from each other. At first glance, the two towns don't have much in common. Rocky Point is home to more than 50,000 people. It sits in Sonora desert at sea level, on the narrow northern shore of the Sea of Cortez. It was first established as a fishing village. Nowadays most of its U.S. visitors come from Arizona, Nevada and California. But Cory said Saturday he made the 600-mile trip to the town several times in recent years and was struck hard by its underlying similarities with Ruidoso. "We wanted them," Cory said. "It's a remote resort community with a large number of second home owners. It has water issues. Tourism and real estate are their prime economic drivers." Munro agreed with all that and added another point of common experience. "We have struggled alike," Munro added. "Since 2008 we have both been recuperating, Ruidoso from the hurricane damage and Rocky Point from the recession." Cory said the new sister city pact accomplishes a mission he took on a decade ago when he was Chamber of Commerce president. But things didn't really start happening until last summer when Cory teamed up with chamber director Becky Brooks to get Ruidoso into Sister Cities International. That organization referred them late last year to the Mexican consulate in Albuquerque. "Their consul, Efren Leyva, was very responsive," Cory said. "He picked up the ball, and within 36 hours we had an agreement with Puerto Peasco." Leyva and several of his staff members were here Saturday evening to bless the partnership they had brokered and to stage a display of Mexican folkloric costumes for reception guests to admire. "It's not hard to build friendship when both sides want to be friends," Leyva said. "This will be good for the futures of both towns." Munro said the next step would probably be an exchange of trade delegations. Then he said village leaders would be invited to Rocky Point to talk about ideas for improving government services. Munro said he was already impressed by the village's strategic planning process and Ruidoso's emergency notification systems. Cory said he wanted a closer look at Rocky Point's special policing policies for tourists. After that there will be teacher and student exchange visits and cultural events in both towns, and the relationship can grow from there in whatever direction the two sides want it to. "We have quite a bit in common," Munro said. "We both experience seasonal influxes of tourists. I think we can learn from each other. I think it's going to be good." Rocky Point already has several other sister cities, including Fremont, CA, and Pima County, Arizona, where Tucson is located, plus others within Mexico. But large families of sister cities are common. Chicago has nearly 30 sister city pacts. Munro said Ruidoso would not have to stand in line for attention. "We appreciate the fact that we are the first sister city of your village," he said. "We take that responsibility seriously." Link to Story:

Potpourri - Short Shorts of All Sorts!
Sometimes so much is going on in our little slice of paradise by the sea that we can't address the many short subjects with proper attention. To handle the hodgepodge of dangling subject matter, we invented the Potpourri Page. Here are a few "short shorts" to keep you up to date.
Flights to Rocky Point Begin on June 26th
As of June 26th, we will begin seeing traffic once again at the Puerto Penasco international Airport. As of now, the flights will be coming from Ciudad Juarez but Mexican airline, Volaris, plans to expand Hermosillo and Tijuana very soon. Volaris executives also say that they are in the process of expanding their destination cities in both Mexico and the USA so, hopefully, we will see some flights from the USA soon. Puerto Penasco Tourist Assistance Unit Passes Surprise Drug Tests 100% The new Tourist Assistance Unit (TAU) Agents underwent a random, surprise drug and substance test in April and every Agent passed with flying colors. Program Director, Luis Molina, expressed no surprise as he has total confidence in his Agents and said that they are doing a terrific job helping in all aspects of tourism assistance and emergency medical response.
The TAU was recently formed by Mayor Kiko Munro as a way to bridge the gap between the tourist public and the local police force. But, their job does not end there. They are out and about in all the tourist areas from early morning until about 8:00pm helping with anything that comes up. They have already been credited with saving lives as first responders in quad and Rhino accidents, retrieving lost children, stopping unscrupulous vendors from ripping off tourists, all the way to giving directions, jump starting vehicles, and helping get someone unstuck from the sand. This group had been needed for a long time and they are doing an exemplary job all the way!
"Del Taco a la Burger" Art expo at Municipal Art Gallery through 5/29 In furthering the promotion of art and culture in the city, the collective art exhibit "Del Taco a la Burger" was recently inaugurated at the Municipal Art Gallery (GAM) located in the Malecn [next to Plaza Luis Donaldo Colosio]. Nina Mier Nogales, Municipal Director of Art & Culture, explained the 19 pieces of work in the exhibit will remain at the GAM through May 29th and can be seen Wednesday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. These same pieces will then take part in an exhibit in Spain. The Nogales Artists Collective "Del Taco a la Burger" is made up of: Carlos Cabrera Cox, Guadalupe Serrano, Luis Diego Amaya Taddei, Nom Santus, and Ricardo Santos Hernandez.
62 Mexican Firefighters Join Wildfire Fight in Northern Alberta, Canada
Five dozen firefighters from Mexico are in Edmonton Thursday getting ready to help fight wildfires in northern Alberta. The 62 brigadistas will join the 1,700 firefighters currently working in the province.
Firefighter Hector Trejo says the firefighting in the state of Jalisco season ended a week ago, about the time they received the request to come to Alberta.
"For most of the guys it's their passion to fight fires, get to know the forest, and what a better way to do it than in another country and helping others," he said.
AIM Penasco AC delivers donations of about $7000 to Amores de Penasco Shelter

New Regulations for Bringing Your Boat Into Mexico
Historically, the experience of crossing into Mexico via the Lukeville Border crossing has been one of very relaxed regulations and little actual oversight. Over the past few years, they have slowly begun enforcing some of the regulations more strictly. A couple years ago, they added an agriculture inspector subsequently prohibiting certain foods, certain types of dog food, plants, potting soils, and other items which were previously overlooked.
The latest change seems to be the need for a boat permit in order to cross with your boat in tow. You will need to get a Temporary Vessel Import Permit. They will also ask for the original and a copy of the boat registration, your passport, drivers license and title to your vehicle. Unfortunately, you can not obtain the permit in person at the Lukeville crossing. The easiest way to obtain the permit in advance is on the website, Sport Fishing Mexico Click the "Customs" tab on the upper right of the page and follow the instructions.
Cinco de Mayo, or 5th of May is a holiday in Mexico, but not the holiday that most people from the USA think that it is. Kids are out of school today but, other than that, business goes on as usual in Mexico today. It is not Mexican Independence Day, that's in September. It is, in fact, the celebration of the victory in one battle that was won when the odds were overwhelmingly against Mexico. It is actually celebrated much more in the United States than it is here in Mexico. Watch the video above for a quick history lesson...

BooBar, One of Malecon's Most Popular Hang Outs, Continues to Sizzle!
With happy customers leaning out the large windows beckoning to ambulant visitors on the main street below, it's hard, nearly impossible, not to find and climb the steep stairway leading to the contagious revelry permeating throughout the colorful dcor of the BooBar. It's small but never seems cramped, and the views from either side lead to the street action below on the Malecn or to the infinite beauty ever-abounding upon the Sea of Cortez.
More than anything though is the welcoming, friendly attitude of every member of the BooBar staff-that's everyone, without exception-who seem to be there just to serve you and be your friend. This atmosphere at the BooBar is a result of constant training by partner and manager Jos Flores, who along with his partner, Scott Kimbriel, took over the bar from Randy Gahan (Wrecked at the Reef) six years ago after Jos had managed it for the previous year and a half.
Jos is a handsome young man, fluent, even exuberantly expressive in English, who exudes instant likeability, and one of those you know immediately was born to be in the service industry. In fact, his philosophy on service and his training practices, which begin with teaching the importance of greeting each and every guest, are surely going to be key to the continued success of the BooBar enterprise.
Jos credits his partner Scott with the financial success of the business due to his expertise with "running the numbers" for Jos's ideas which saves him many headaches. It was this kind of team work that justified several recent additions to the BooBar enterprise, namely their new signature product outlet located on Calle Ulloa next to Viva Mexico Asadero, where you can buy a plethora of BooBar goodies from T's to jewelry, caps to unique tequila containers (you'll just have to visit to appreciate these items), and so much more. The latest addition is the BooBar Pizza Parlor just a couple of doors away from the bamboo-lined stairway to the bar.
Inside the bar itself, Jos recently installed a surprise for his regulars in the form of swinging bar seats-literally, swings-an idea he brought back from Cancun-that hang from his ceiling, which he had to have reinforced by a construction engineer. If you're visiting for the first time, they look so natural lining the bar. When regulars see them for the first time, a double-take is definitely in order!
Because of Jos's penchant for ultimate service, the BooBar menu is quite varied with anything from seafood to burgers, chicken wings to quesadillas, and if you still don't see what you want on the full menu, no problemo, amigo, just ask and they'll make it for you! (Endangered species not included.)
BooBar opens at 11:00AM on weekdays and 10:00 AM on weekends and closes when the last customer leaves. As we all know, the seasons in Rocky Point are like a roller coaster and BooBar goes along with the ride. They're always open during the many special events that take place here with their peak season running from February until around the 4th of July, and the months of October/November. Again, anytime there is a special event during the off months, you can bet BooBar will be hopping. Otherwise, they close on weekdays during those off-peak times.
It's rare you won't find live music every weekend at BooBar. In addition to their house band, The BooBoys, you may find a band imported from Tucson, Phoenix, Prescott, San Diego and other parts. They don't seem to have a problem getting guest entertainers to show up because partner Scott Kimbriel's digital genius encompasses programming quality sound adjusted specifically for the dimensions of BooBar. He also has just upgraded all the musical equipment that is part of the bar, including the percussion set, microphones, speakers, amps, mixers and other modern electronic accoutrements which musicians love about BooBar. Obviously, because they're so personal, it's a BYO (Guitar, flute, sax, xylophone, keyboards, etc.)

Experience Mexico's Copper Canyon
By Mexperience
People often ask for a list of 'must-see' places to visit in Mexico. No such list would be complete without inclusion of one of the most breath-taking travel experiences Mexico has on offer: Barrancas de Cobre - Copper Canyon - an area of outstanding natural beauty situated in north-western Mexico.
The 'Copper Canyon' is actually a series of twenty canyons, formed over the years by six rivers. The area is about seven times the size of the Grand Canyon, and has distinct topography, flora, and fauna to Arizona's premier natural wonder.
The most popular - and best - way to travel into the canyon is by making use of the remarkable railway which traverses this rugged wilderness. Opened in 1961 following decades of construction, the line is an extraordinary feat of engineering in its own right.
The railway was originally devised to connect the commercial Pacific sea port at Los Mochis to the central colonial city of Chihuahua. An remarkable feature of the line is that it begins at near-sea level on the Pacific coast, rises to an altitude of over 8,000 feet and then declines again to an altitude of around 2,500 feet. The incline of a railway track cannot exceed fifteen degrees, so to accomplish the 'climb and descent' the engineers needed to construct bridges, burrow many tunnels through the mountains, and use 'switch-back' stages in order to complete the route.
By the time the railway was finished, engineers had laid over 390 miles of track crossing thirty-nine bridges and traversing eighty-six tunnels: the longest bridge runs for a quarter-mile, and the longest tunnel for nearly a mile.
Two first-class trains begin the journey across the canyon: one starting in Chihuahua City and the other in Los Mochis. They meet, roughly half-way, near Divisadero station, which is also a base for most of the canyon's hotels, lodges, and tours.
The most scenic and dramatic areas of the canyon are on the west side so, to take advantage of the daylight, it's generally accepted that the train traveling west to east - from Los Mochis towards Chihuahua - is a better sight-seeing option than the one traveling east to west.
Seasonally, May and June tend to be the driest months in the canyons. July to November are months when the rains are most abundant and the canyons' flora show-off their deepest greens. Between December and May, the flora's colors are in transition between the wet and dry seasons.
Although the train journey begins in Los Mochis, most tour visitors board the train at its first main stop situated in the beautiful colonial town of El Fuerte, which is about an hour's drive from Los Mochis, the city which most people fly into to take the train. When you arrange your visit to the canyon using a tour company, there will be a driver and vehicle waiting to meet you at the airport.
You can take the train straight through to Chihuahua City and simply see the canyon 'in passing' on the train. With representatives from Levi Strauss & Co. on hand, along with numerous skaters, Mayor Kiko Munro supervised the launch of construction work on the company's first Professional Skate Park in Mexico, and their sixth worldwide. The Mayor thanked Levi's Latin America Regional Director, Arcadio Jaramillo, for having selected this beach destination for construction of the skateboard park over the next month. The park itself will be built to professional standards in order to be able to welcome international competitions.
The mayor emphasized the project will have an important social impact as it represents a new alternative for youth, and will open the doors to sports tourism.
The Regional Director of Levi Strauss & Co. explained the Puerto Peasco skate park will be the sixth the U.S. company has built, with others being in Bolivia, the U.S., New Zealand, South Africa, and India.
Jaramillo told the mayor that once the athletic infrastructure is complete, Puerto Peasco will be ready to host competitions such as the PHXAM Skateboard Contest of Phoenix, AZ, attracting professional skateboard competitors from the southern U.S., Brazil, Argentina, China, and Mexico.
Along with construction of the skate park, Levi's is simultaneously creating a documentary for publicity and marketing purposes, which will be launched during the second part of 2016 in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
Filming is taking place in various locations across Puerto Peasco, with the participation of 14 professional skaters.
The new professional skate park is part of an alliance, in which the City donated the land located at the corner of Calle 18 and Plutarco Elas Calles, while the multinational company headquartered in San Francisco, CA is responsible for design and construction.

The Health Benefits of Being at the Beach
We all love going to the beach and relaxing. It is a pleasurable experience. But did you know that the beach provides countless health benefits too? Aside from the obvioius mental health benefits, consider these:
The Salt Water
Many of us have been told that sea water is good for us. We have been told to "take our troubles to the water." But what does the ocean really do for our health?
Well, let's start off with the basics. All of us are made up of sea water. Our bodies are about two thirds water, and the only mineral that we can ingest is salt. All of us have elements of sea water within our systems, so how does swimming in the ocean help us?
- First of all, sea water is a miracle treatment for acne and semi-permanent scars. Salt is an excellent curing, clearing, and cleansing agent. Why do you think we cure pork with salt? The sodium chloride helps to cleanse the skin and is often affective for mild acne. Instead of using harsh chemicals that can damage pores and cause scarring, try taking a trip to the waves instead.
- Salt water heals cuts and sores. Have you ever been told to go into the ocean for your scrapes? Salt water has been used as a cleanser for thousands of years. It rids the skin of foreign toxins and cures the cuts. That's why it is often recommended that we gargle with salt water. The salt also dries out any pus that is in wounds. It may sting when you first touch the water, but when you come out, it should be much less painful than before you went in.
- Salt water also acts as a natural shampoo. Have you noticed that your hair is extremely dry after coming out of the water? This is because the salt in the ocean cleanses all the oils from your hair. If you have a particularly greasy scalp, then salt water is an excellent way to strip those unnecessary oils from your hair. Bathing in sea water also adds volume to your hair, especially if you use many products. The salt gets rid of the built up chemicals, whether it be conditioners, hair spray, gels, or etc, and thus your hair isn't nearly as weighed down. The water even gets rid of dandruff because, especially when the salt particles are larger rather than smaller, it acts as an exfoliate to your scalp.
- It clears your nasal passage ways. If you've ever gone into the water with a stuffed nose, you know that the second salt water enters your nose, tons of goop comes seeping out. Gross right? If you've ever had an overly stuffed nose, you may have had to get a little tea-pot shaped thing from your doctor. Doctors often prescribe mixing salt and water and then pouring it into one nostril, thus filtering out the built-up mucus from the other nostril. Why use a nose tea-pot when you can just go for a swim. Don't worry, what ever falls into the water gets cleansed by the ocean's natural janitors, the algae and sea plants.
- Finally, swimming in sea water hels you stay fit. This is perhaps the most conventional of the benefits of the beach. When you are swimming, you use muscles in your shoulders, arms, and legs which aren't used in any other activity. That's why swimming is often recommended as a great way to exercise. Even treading water at a fast pace will burn 590 callories an hour if you weigh less than 130 lbs. If you weigh more, that it burns even more calories.
The Sand
Obviously, at the beach, sand is everywhere. We walk in it, we bury ourselves in it, we even play with it. But what do these little grains of rock contribute to our beach spa?
- Perhaps most importantly, sand is a natural exfoliant. Have you ever noticed that after leaving the beach, the soles of your feet are really soft? This is because you've been walking around on sand all day! The finer the sand, the better the exfoliation. Although I do not recommend using sand on your face because it can be harsh, for your legs, feet, arms, or torso, the grains make for an extremely healthier alternative to the chemical-rich retail exfoliants. It is important to exfoliate your body because you are simultaneously stripping away dead skin cells, thereby making your skin soft to the touch, and also allowing your pores to breathe better, making it less likely for you to get break outs. It is recommended that you exfoliate twice a week, so now you have an excuse to head to the beach!
- Walking in sand also helps you stay fit. Do you ever notice that walking on the beach takes so much more effort than walking on the ground? This is because of the dunes in the sand and the inconsistent, and constantly changing location of the grains underneath your feet. You burn up to fifty percent more calories walking on sand, plus since your muscles are trying so hard to get traction, they get toned a lot faster. Now you know why those beach joggers are so fit.
- Finally, have you ever buried yourself in sand? You might have thought this was just a fun thing to do, but it turns out that sand burial actually is good for you too. It increases your body's overall resistance and also raises your circulation and metabolism. Your body works a lot harder with all that extra weight on it. This is similar to the effect of being bigger than other people. It's pretty obvious to see that the more you weigh, the harder it is for you to do activities. This is why it is often easier for people who are especially thin to do exercise rather than someone who is of normal weight. By burying yourself in sand, you give your body the impression that you weigh that much more, and thus increase your heart rate, and consequently your metabolism.
The Sun and Heat
We all love to bathe in the sun's warm rays, but this delicious relaxing activity can also help your body and mind.
- It is a well known fact that human beings should get some sun. Ideally, you should spend at least half an hour in full sun daily. Most people know that light from the sun stimulates the Vitamin D production in your body. But what does Vitamin D actually do? Well, in scientific terms, Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin, or a steroid hormone. Basically, it goes into the nucleus of cells in your body and either turns them on or off. Another example of a steroid hormone is testosterone. Vitamin D helps to reduce your risk of heart attacks, osteoporosis, Alzheimer's, and depression while also boosting your immune system, reducing acne, and combating type II Diabetes. Perhaps most importantly in this day and age, Vitamin D helps to dramatically reduce your risk of cancer. Vitamin D levels are at an all time low in human beings, especially in America and other First World countries due to the growing dependency on cubicles and offices rather than agriculture. So go to the beach, slap on some sun screen and stay a while. Don't forget to put on sunscreen of at least SPF 15, because this way you will still get Vitamin D and a tan while not getting skin cancer.
- It turns out that staying in the sun also makes you happier. People who don't spend at least half an hour daily in the sun are nine times as likely to develop depression. So keep that smile going strong by staying in the sun at the beach.
- The sun also makes you look great. This one is obvious, but I had to include it because it's one of the main reasons for going to the beach. Sunlight stimulates the production of melanin in your skin, AKA, makes you tan. It also lightens hair, giving you natural and lustrous streaks. Don't forget to use a shampoo that has SPF 15 because your hair can get damaged from strong sun as well .
- Finally, the sun (and consequently the heat) also makes you perspire which, as it turn out, raises your level of circulation and your metabolism. Sweating is very healthy, it helps your body rid itself of excess toxins while also helping it cool off. The stimulation of perspiration makes your heart rate increase and also increases our metabolism, so don't be afraid to let out the sweat!
Seaweed and Sea Food
They say that seaweed is one of the most revolutionary and extraordinary natural health agents of all time. Especially according to recent studies conducted by Dr. Haengwoo Lee, a biochemist now living in Seattle Washington, the benefits of seaweed are staggering. Sea food, such as fish, oysters, shrimp, and others, while being delicious also are wonderful for you brain and heart.
- Seaweed contains an anti-oxidant which is up to 100 times more effective than the traditional antioxidants Vitamins C and E. This "super-antioxidant" has wondrous health benefits. Studies show that taking a seaweed supplement for only six weeks can: reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol while increase HDL (good) cholesterol, increase elasticity and openness of arteries, improve memory, boost circulation, enhance mental sharpness, and even help you sleep better.
- Seafood contains Omega 3 fatty acids. Normally our bodies get bombarded by Omega 6 fatty acids, these fats are found usually in chips or other packaged products. However, over seventy percent of humans lack omega 3 fatty acids because they are so hard to find. Among the few foods that have omega 3s besides seafood are nuts and avocados. But fish and fish oil is undoubtedly the most plentiful supply of these healthy fats. Omega 3 not only regulates your triglycerides in the blood, but also reduces blood clotting, inflammation, risk of heart disease, risk of stroke, and is vital in the production of brain and eye tissue. So important in fact that it is often added to baby formula. So after your day of spa treatments at the beach, get some of the other benefits from the ocean while also filling up your belly. Same goes for the seaweed, go have some sushi!

Mayor Kiko Munro Calls for Inspection of Sardine Boats
After meeting with local fishermen who had been demonstrating at the city's docks due to the presence of sardine boats, Mayor Kiko Munro has formally requested for inspection of the boat's permits. Munro explained in response to the complaint received from the Comit de la Bajada, made up of 116 fishermen, a letter was sent to Mario Aguilar Snchez of the National Aquaculture and Fishing Commission, urgently requesting inspection and verification in order to safeguard marine species, the ecological and environmental balance, as well as public and social interest. The document details the concern of local fishermen as to the legality of multiple large fishing vessels (sardine boats), originating from Guaymas and other areas. Verification of the vessels' permits has been requested to ensure their activities are accredited within the coordinates of this municipality. Furthermore, they request inspection of captures on the vessels to make sure they correspond to the species accredited in permits. This is to help prevent any violation of temporary fishing prohibitions that have been declared in the area, as well as for regulation concerning protected marine species. |
Cholla Bay Annual Horseshoe Tournament a Big Success Again This Year
One of the biggest annual events in Cholla Bay this year was the 9th Annual Horseshoe Tournament sponsored by the Cholla Bay Sportsmen's Club (CBSC). The tournament had a new addition this year with a Corn Hole Tournament ongoing at the same time. The event was held at the beautiful Firecracker Park in Cholla Bay, Sonora Mexico.
If you've been missing a good "tailgating" party then this was the event for you! There was an admission fee of $10.00 (US) for all spectators. With that admission you received hotdogs and all the beer you could drink. Let me tell you the beer did flow right through the semi-finals and then into the final competition. Men and women could separate their teams to get that "little extra bit" of competitive spirit. Locals (both Mexican and American) and tourist turned out in scores to watch the event. Cholla locals say that they have not seen a turnout of spectators like this one at an event by so many different people. The Corn Hole Tournament portion of this event was so successful that they plan to have their "own" event later in the year. Look for this tournament to be scheduled sometime in October. During the tournament was a massive raffle with hundreds of prizes given throughout the entire tournament. There were 72 gift certificates alone from local sponsors in addition to the individual items that were donated. It took well over 6 hours during the ongoing tournament to award all the raffle prizes. This really motivated the spectators to stay for the entire event and raised a tournament record amount of money for the Red Cross of Puerto Penasco. Mike Dugan, the President of the CBSC will tell you himself that, "It's about the supporting our community that we love and helping people in their time of need. That's what the Red Cross of Puerto Penasco does for all of us in Mexico." This year's tournament chair was Billie Crumley. She would be the first to tell you that this type of event isn't successful without the many supporting staff and sponsors. It's clear she had a phenomenal crew to assist her in all aspects of the tournament and an untold amount of sponsors for the raffle. A large banner displayed all sponsors with a "Thank You" and a request to "please patronize our Sponsors!" You could purchase T-shirts, gift bags, koozies, car flags, and other assorted items from the CBSC Ship's Store who was also in attendance raising money for the event. Now, I know what we really want to know is, "who won?" For the Horseshoe Tournament In the Men's Division: 1st Place Bisbee Pumas, Ralph Parra and Cirilo Encinas Jr. 2nd Place Southside Jills, Ringer Ray and Apache Kid Clayton 3rd Place Last minute, Rikardo Davila and Roger Thyfault In the Women's Division: 1st Place Lucky Ladies, Susie Flinn and Beckie Nicoson 2nd Place Lady Bugs, Donna Clapper and Sheri Winsatt For the Corn Hole Tournament 1st Place Boat Drunks, Darwin McCullough and Brian Newell 2nd Place Pinche Elotes, Victor Espinosa and Rick Cornelius 3rd Place Pirates, Carlos and Nancy Perez When you're hanging out around Rocky Point, whether it Sandy Beach, Cholla Bay, in town Puerto Penasco, or Las Conchas, there is always something going on and lots of people to meet! Get your game on, practice, and we'll see you next year! Watch for events sponsored by the Cholla Bay Sportsmen's Club in the Rocky Point Times and the Cholla Chatter. |
How Monarchs Arrive at their Destination
Scientists create model of butterflies' neural control mechanisms
A team of scientists from the United States may have finally uncovered the mechanism that allows monarch butterflies to migrate up to 7,700 kilometers without getting lost.
And in the process they may have come up with the means of creating small, insect-sized drones that could aid scientists and environmentalists in efforts to protect the monarch butterflies on their yearly North American migration.
A group of mathematicians from the University of Washington teamed up with biologists from the University of Massachusetts and along with a third team of specialists from the University of Michigan set out to recreate the internal compass the monarchs use to navigate on their journey between the U.S. and Canada and Mexico.
In a report published in the journal Cell Reports, the joint team said it has modeled the neural control mechanisms at work in the butterfly's brain.
Lead researcher Eli Shlizerman explained that, as a mathematician, he wanted to know how the insects' neurobiological systems are wired and what can be learned from them. "Monarch butterflies [complete their journey] in such an optimal, predetermined way," he told BBC News, "they end up in a particular location in central Mexico after two months of flight, saving energy and only using a few cues." Shlizerman's research identified that those cues depend entirely on the sun: "One is the horizontal position of the sun and the other is keeping the time of day, giving [the insects] an internal sun compass for traveling throughout the day."
"We wanted to understand how the monarch is processing these different types of information to yield this constant behavior, flying southwest each fall," said Shlizerman.
Monarchs watch the sun, but that's not enough to get them where they need to go. They also need the time of day. For that they possess an internal clock of sorts that aids them in keeping track of the time. This "clock" is centered in their antennae.
After identifying the inputs for the butterflies' internal compass, Shlizerman then created a system to simulate it consisting of two control mechanisms, one based on the timekeeping "clock" neurons in the butterflies' antennae and the other from what are called azimuth neurons in their eyes, which monitor the position of the sun. "The circuit gets those two signals then matches them, according to how it's wired, to control signals that tell the system if a correction is needed to stay on the correct course. "For me this is very exciting, as it shows how a behavior is produced by the integration of signals," he added. The scientists' model also accounted for how the butterflies get back on course if they stray, and suggested that the neural mechanisms just reverse direction when it's time for them to head back north in the spring. "And when that happens, their compass points northeast instead of southwest," said Shlizerman. "It's a simple, robust system to explain how these butterflies, generation after generation, make this remarkable migration." Shlizerman explained that one of the team's goals was to build a robotic monarch butterfly that could follow the insects and track their entire migration. "It's a very interesting application that could follow the butterflies and even aid in their preservation. Their numbers are decreasing, so we want to keep this insect, the only one that migrates these huge distances, with us for many years."

Speedy Gonzales' Relationship With The Hispanic Community
Delfin Carbonell Basset VOXXI
Stereotypes die hard, as we know, and sometimes backfire, as it was and is the case of the beloved Speedy Gonzales, the cartoon character created to poke fun at Mexicans but who became a much-loved hero in the Spanish-speaking world, especially in Mexico and Spain.
Speedy Gonzales was born in the early 50s and was intended to be a real stereotype of what Anglophones in the United States considered to be a "typical" Mexican: he spoke with an exaggerated Mexican accent; he wore an oversized sombrero, Mexican type, and white shirt and trousers, with a red kerchief around his neck.
His speech was sprinkled with Spanish words like ndele! arriba! amigo, gracias, seor, gringo, hasta la vista... and others to make him sound authentic and real.
The cartoon hero became very popular and was an instant success with audiences who laughed at the Mexican mouse's way of talking and acting. However it backfired on its creators and American audiences as well.
Speedy Gonzales's character welcomed by Hispanics
Speedy Gonzales did not offend the Hispanic public, on the contrary, they found the mouse amusing, clever and a character that outsmarted the "local" cartoon personalities he was pitched against, like Sylvester the Cat (el gringo pussygato), Porky Pig, Wily Coyote and even Duffy Duck. How so?
Mexicans have always been depicted as slow and easy going but the creators of this cartoon character turned him into a plucky, energetic, speedy hero of the underdog, like a modern cartoon Zorro.
He helps hungry Mexican mice get to a cheese factory guarded by Sylvester, the gringo cat, who is constantly humiliated and outrun by this little mouse who speaks with a funny Mexican accent. I believe that Speedy Gonzales popularized that stereotype accent that most English-speaking Americans identify as Mexican English.
Was the cartoon racist, offensive, insulting, prejudiced? Possibly the creators intended it to be so, and exploited the audience's weaknesses, animosity and foibles against foreigners, but in the long run all that backfired and ended up making the whole world laugh at the shenanigans and antics of the hero of the "undermouse," Speedy Gonzales, who is quick-witted, fast, nimble, funny, cute and endearing. He's the "fastest mouse in all Mexico; a friend of everybody."
He was also a ladies' "mouse" who took all the girls away from the other mice to the point that the rejected lovers hit on the great idea of bringing in the gringo pussycat to chase Speedy out of town. Imagine! Sylvester, the pussygato, was no match for Speedy Gonzales.
Sylvester guarded the border fence to keep immigrant Mexican mice from entering the country and eating all the cheese. That was 60 years ago, mind you.
I urge you to watch Speedy Gonzalez's cartoons and you will have a good time, many laughs and will develop an admiration for this hero that I think should become the symbol of Hispanics in the United States of America to prove that they all have a sense of humor and are as quick-witted as Seor Speedy.
Should we try to bring back this champion of the "undermouse," this Mouse-Zorro, now 60 years old, in order to calm things down and put politics in perspective?
"Us good guy always win" as he said. And W.C. Fields told us to "Start every day off with a smile and get it over with."

Baked Flounder with Fresh Lemon Pepper
Flounder, or lenguado, as it is known in Spanish, is a very mild and tasty fish, and in Puerto Penasco, it is very easy to get fresh, boneless, flounder fillets at a super reasonable price. I just bought some fillets at Sea Products on Sinaloa Street but you can find it at the fish market, the grocery stores, and various other locales around town.
We are all familiar with the funny looking flounder fish that lives on its side, has both eyes on the "up" side of its body, and is very well camouflaged to blend in with the sea floor. But, did you know that the flounder didn't start out that way? Here's an interesting tidbit regarding this delicious fish:
The embryos and larvae of flounder are symmetrical in external form, and the larvae feed by swimming about in the water column and catching planktonic prey.
The weird stuff all happens later, after the larva has feasted and grown for a while. When the fish is about a month old, and over the course of the next several weeks, one eye begins migrating upwards towards the top of the head and over, until it is adjacent to the other eye. As you might guess, this process involves extensive remodeling of the skull. Bones soften and degenerate, connective tissue thickens and pushes the eye socket around, and just in general many bones, including those of the jaw, end up oddly skewed. It's not just the skull that gets jiggered around; many other changes occur in the animal at this point. Pigmentation forms on one side and not the other, there are changes in the bony structure of the fin rays, some fins regress and others become larger, and there are internal changes to the gut. It sounds stunning and radical, but here's the thing: most fish, maybe all teleosts, go through a period called larval metamorphosis during which similar changes occur. So, significant parts of this process are simply modifications of normal changes that occur in vast numbers of vertebrates as they develop out of their larval stages into adulthood. The one unique thing in the flatfish is the linkage of the effects to asymmetry, and that, unfortunately, is still a bit of a mystery. Here is a very simple but delicious and healthy recipe to try:
Ingredients flounder fillets as desired
2 tablespoons grated lemon rind (about 3 lemons)
1 tablespoon extravirgin olive oil
1 1/4 teaspoons black peppercorns, crushed
4 (6-ounce) flounder fillets
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425.
Combine first 5 ingredients. Place fillets on a baking pan coated with cooking spray. Rub garlic mixture evenly over fillets. Bake at 425 for 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
Provecho!

A Place for Every Adjective, and Every Adjective in its Place
By Pinpoint Spanish Most adjectives in Spanish go after the noun which they qualify or modify, although there are many exceptions, and the language gives its students plenty of flexibility without necessarily violating some especially-thorny grammatical point. Some adjectives go before the noun, others can go before or after, and still others change their meaning depending on whether they precede or follow the noun. One more or less reliable rule-of-thumb is that adjectives which differentiate an object from others of its kind - el coche azul (the blue car), la mesa redonda (the round table) - are placed after the noun, while those that underscore the quality of a thing precede the noun - una gran idea (a great idea), un perfecto caballero (a perfect gentleman), qu lindos nios (what lovely children). Some examples of adjectives that precede the noun are those of quantity or number. Los primeros das del mes (the first days of the month), el cuarto poder (the fourth estate). Adjectives of color, shape, and status almost always go after the noun, although even here there is poetic license. Others can go quite comfortably before or after - La prxima semana (next week) or la semana prxima are equally acceptable. Likewise, una ola enorme (a giant wave) or una enorme ola are both correct. There are also adjectives that have different meanings depending whether they are applied before or after the noun they modify: Es la nica lmpara que tengo (It's the only lamp I have); Esa lmpara es nica (That lamp is unique); l es un perfecto tonto. He is an unmitigated fool; Fue un da perfecto. It was a perfect day; En la tienda venden puro jugo. In the shop they only sell juice; En la tienda venden jugo puro. (In the shop they sell pure [unadulterated] juice). Set expressions such as bellas artes, (fine arts), have the adjective first. Buenas noches (less common, but also used, is buena noche) is good night, while Noche Buena means Christmas Eve. In some cases, choosing whether to put the adjective before or after the noun can depend on whether you want to impress upon the listener the thing itself or the quality of it. Un tremendo ruido (a tremendous noise) suggests noise is objectionable, while un ruido tremendo stresses how loud it was. This is somewhat subjective, although writers-and especially poets-will move the order around for effect. When several adjectives are applied, they can be grouped before, after, or on either side of the noun, usually following the same rules and patterns as single adjectives, although it's unusual to string several together as you would in English without "y" in-between: It was a cold windy day - Fue un da fro y ventoso; Beautiful red leaves - Hermosas hojas rojas; The last gray autumn days. Los ltimos das grises de otoo. As examples here indicate, adjectives follow the same endings rules as nouns for masculine and feminine, singular and plural. One irregularity: Mi tercer aniversario. My third anniversary, but Rey Ricardo Tercero de Inglaterra. King Richard the Third of England. El primer captulo, (The first chapter) but el captulo primero.
Enjoy May. See You Next Month!
