 | HAPPY NEW YEAR

On June 30 we end one year for CSI Southwest Region and jump right into FY2016 under President Paul Ricciuti, CSI. We recognize the labors of all CSI leaders in the Southwest Region and thank them sincerely. Our volunteer leaders serve on national, regional, and local levels, and are both chapter-affiliated and -unaffiliated alike.

In FY2016 we also look forward to terms by Phoenix and Tucson Chapters' Ron Geren, FCSI, CCS, CCCA, AIA, SCIP as Institute President-Elect, Albuquerque's David Vaughan, CSI, CCPR as Institute At-Large Board Member (second year), and Denver's David Bishton, RA, FCSI, CCS, CCCA, SCIP as Institute Board Member from the Southwest Region. Please talk to them regularly with your concerns, as the challenges before us are...well, you know...large.   We also thank the volunteers in non-elected positions throughout the Region who serve on committees and task forces. You are truly the pulse of CSI.  Let's have some fun this summer and get ready for the New Year!

PREPARING TO LEAD After two years of preparation and planning, the 2015 Tri Region Conference San Diego is now done.  Looking in the rear-view mirror helps to bring into focus the point of so much effort, and how it benefits CSI and its members.     "I am no long terrified to be Chapter President.  Now I'm excited!"  Nancy Lomax-Brooks, CSI Albuquerque.  If you're one of many CSI members who've never been to a region conference, let me state my belief that this quote represents the primary goal of these events. Leadership Training in our association is first and foremost about helping our volunteers understand that they are NOT ALONE, that even the most experienced...

TRI-REGION CONFERENCE - SAN DIEGO May 13-16, 2015
These multi-region gatherings are very cool, no matter how much it rains!  It was great to have most of our chapters represented in San Diego as well as CSI leaders from over 20 other chapters in the West and Northwest Regions. Many thanks to the San Diego Chapter for all their efforts in making this a successful event.
