Our chapters are getting to that busy time of year when big events and plans  stumble over each other in rapid succession. We are a volunteer organization and leaders are rarely so happy as now to hear the simple words, "I'll help with that."   What does that have to do with a website? Check out your chapter's website or newsletter and see all the plans & possibilities. If you don't find any, or parts of it seem thin or outdated, maybe it's because no one has volunteered to keep it current. Your leaders' ideas need good and timely publicity. Could you help your chapter in this important area of communications? It's the path where I started as a CSI volunteer, and it has made all the difference.   David Bishton, RA, CSI, CCS, CCCA, SCIP

In attendance were over 1,400 students, 200 faculty and 95 construction companies - a great gathering of the brightest young minds from many prestigious schools about to enter the Construction Management Industry. The enthusiasm and character of these students is quite inspiring and gives tremendous confidence for the future of our industry. It is the "Cream of the Crop" representing each school... |
