SPRING FORWARD
Have you recovered yet? That semi-annual time change can take a bit of getting used to. Except for those of you in Arizona, where time never changes. OK, that didn't come out right. Maybe you have sprung forward in other ways this year. Getting outside in our marvelous scenery, being more active, finding new learning opportunities for career advancement, and other changes. Feels good. CSI is springing forward too. Chapter elections in April will establish next year's volunteer leaders, but more importantly, next year's new projects, learning, and growth in the construction industry. We need to change and grow to be vital - CSI gives you unique opportunities on local, regional, and national levels. Your move. Hope there's a CSI spring in your step. TRUST

Today during a jobsite visit, the Owner Representative (a CSI member) pulled me aside to indicate his concern with the application of the EIFS system details. I reviewed the ongoing installation in part with knowledge gained at a CSI chapter presentation on proper EIFS application techniques - and agreed with the Owner's concerns. I then called the manufacturer's technical representative, a CSI chapter associate and someone whom I consider a "Trusted Advisor", to request that he visit the site immediately to review the installation; a request to which he quickly agreed.
This chain of events is indicative of how important TRUST has become...
