Highlights from 2013 Fishing with Sea Hag Marina
January 2013
Sheila Rees from Williston, FL, with a real Gator trout 30" and 7.5 pounds. Caught on a pearl Gulp! south of the river.
February 2013
Bobby Taylor with the most unusual catch of the year, coming from the river. Bobby was getting hung up a lot while using a Sea Hag pinfish near the bridge. He decided to tie a stick on his line as a float and it turned out to be just what this 11.5 lb striper wanted.
Becky Royals with a fresh sheepshead from Saturday.
April 2013
The Keystone Heights, FL crew of Mike, Kim, Ben, and Parker Dykes, Chuck and Bill White, Eric Wood, Nina Horton, and James McCoy where back at the dock by 10:00am with a wheel barrow full of sheeps head Friday.
May 2013
Long time Sea Hag customer Bill McDavid with a nice kingfish caught trolling a duster tipped with dead bait, south of Pepperfish key last Saturday.
June 2013
Carissa Miller and Kat Crews, both from Gainesville, FL, with the winning red grouper and red snapper. They were fishing in the Steinhatchee Nauti Girls tournament last Saturday aboard the Submarina.
July 2013
Trent Brown 14, Henry Croy, and boat driver Bobby Legg, from Punta Gorda, FL went for an 1 1/2 hour ride down the Steinhatchee River after hooking this nice tarpon at Sea Hag Marina.
August 2013
Danielle, Chase, and Chaeli making that last trip before school starts.
September 2013
Wahoo! Rarely seen in the waters, but Ray Hedgecock and Randy Jones talked the 48 pound wahoo into taking a couple of pinfish last Sunday.
October 2013
Capt. Brian Smith's crew from yesterday could not lift this hefty fish! Pippa (left) fought the hard fight bringing this 74lb cobia to the boat! Several times it approached the boat and turned away, so Alecia (right) tag team finished off the battle.
November 2013
Carl Wheeler from Gray, GA, caught this real 30" gator trout Monday, Veterans Day off Keaton Beach.
Frank Sheffield Sr., Dean Baker, Frank Sheffield, Jeff Fitchett, Wyatt and Ferrell Manning brought in this heavy stringer of gag grouper and amberjack Monday from 55' of water.
