In a lawsuit regarding the use of entangling nets (Case # 2011-CA-2195), Leon County Circuit Judge Jackie Fulford rules that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission stop enforcing the state's gill net ban!  See more details here.  She has over turned Constitutional Ammendment Article X Section 16, Limiting marine net fishing.

Luke Lucas from Moultrie, GA, landed a fist full of fish. Luke and his friends caught these big trout and redfish yesterday on GULP GSSHR3-NP (New Penny) and GULP GSSHR3-PWC (Pearl White Chartreuse Tail) north of the river aboard a Sea Hag rental boat.

Last week, Phil Evans from Gainesville, FL, found a huge school of redfish north of the river. His son Philip was his net man helping him boat this keeper.

Just ahead of last week's cold front, Robert Hobbs from Covington, GA and Tommy Ballard from St. Simons Island, GA, caught these gator trout and nice redfish on Sea Hag select shrimp south of the river.
