VACATION WITH CHRISTIAN PURPOSE:
REGISTER FOR CHARLESTON, SC REVOLUTIONARY WAR TOUR
History is "His story." Sadly, most of us learned history through the prism of secular teachers and secular textbooks. As a result, we didn't learn the truth at all.
No matter what time period or what country you might study, it's essential to learn how God and God's people played a role. That's why I want to urge you to seriously consider taking your family on the Christian-based War for Independence History Tour in historic Charleston, South Carolina between Sunday, April 29 and Friday, May 4, 2012.
I, Adam McManus, strongly urge that you take the time to investigate this amazing opportunity for you and your family to learn straight from the Christian historians who have researched the primary documents of the time.
Sign up BEFORE December 31st, and get a whopping 25% discount off the price of admission. Details below in action steps).
Watch this helpful 3-minute video below which summarizes the vision for your vacation with a Christian and historical purpose.
Bill Potter and Marshall Foster are top-shelf Christian historians who will give you a providential perspective on the lesser well known battles waged in the South for American liberty from England.
Tour the battlefield where thousands died to gain the freedoms that we enjoy today. See the sights and absorb the sounds.
Feast in the same hall that saw the unfolding of independence and entertained George Washington. Visit dank cellars where fervent patriots languished. Kayak to the isolated swampy island that was home to the "Swamp Fox" and his wily band.
These are experiences that you will share with your children's children in years to come.
What you'll learn

A trip to the supermarket on Tuesday became a horrifying experience when the racing champion saw a woman nursing her child near the produce section, reported SportsGrid.com.
At first the 31-year-old thought he was hallucinating.
"Just walking though supermarket," he tweeted. "See a mom breast feeding little kid. Took second look because obviously I was seeing things. I wasn't!"
Once the driver realized that his eyes were not deceiving him, he began to tweet his disgust.

FEUDING MONKS BRAWL AT CHURCH OF THE NATIVITY IN BETHLEHEMThe annual cleaning of one of Christianity's holiest churches deteriorated into a brawl between rival clergy Wednesday, as dozens of monks feuding over sacred space at the Church of the Nativity battled each other with brooms until police intervened.
The ancient church, built over the traditional site of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem, is shared by three Christian denominations - Roman Catholics, Armenians and Greek Orthodox. Wednesday's fight erupted between Greek and Armenian clergy, with both sides accusing each other of encroaching on parts of the church to which they lay claim.

MICHELLE DUGGAR MOURNS THE DEATH OF DAUGHTER JUBILEE IN VIDEOLosing a child is difficult for a couple under any circumstances.
And reality television personality Michelle Duggar is allowing people to share in her grief after releasing an audio reading to the baby daughter she miscarried earlier this month.
The devout Christian "19 Kids and Counting" star and her husband Jim Bob were devastated after losing a child for a second time.
And it has now emerged the mother-of-19 has posted a special message to the little girl, who they called Jubilee Shalom, in an online video titled You are Loved and Missed.
In one particularly emotional moment she described things she would no longer be able to experience, and the things she had hoped to share with the child.

The 45-year-old said: 'I will miss listening to your heartbeat and praying for you as you grow in my womb.
'I will miss feeling you kick in my tummy. I will miss cradling you in my arms and singing to you.
'I will miss seeing life through your eyes, as I enjoy doing through all the other children so much.
I will miss doing mommy things with you and for you.'
Michelle made the heartrending revelations after opening her message with an explanation about what her child's name had meant.
She said: 'Dear Jubilee, mommy wanted to write a letter to my precious baby girl.
'You know, your name Jubilee Shalom Duggar, means joyful celebration of peace.
'We were so thankful to God when we found out we were expecting you.'
And she said the rest of her large family was also devastated by the loss.
She said: 'Your siblings did not view you as the competition.
'They are truly saddened and disappointed to not have really known you.
'You were not loved any less because you were baby number 21, or Duggar grand baby number 23. We are blessed because you lived you lived.'

NORMAN LEAR'S LEFT-WING PARANOIA ABOUT 'THE RIGHT'They're coming for your children! They're coming for the womenfolk! Then they're coming after you! Norman Lear, the famous television show producer, offered this hysterically paranoid assessment of the allegedly growing and presumably insidious power of "the right":
Liberal TV producer Norman Lear
Lear wrote: "I want to suggest that we lefties start laying claim to what we see as "sacred" and serve it up proudly to the religious right - to the James Dobson, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Karl Rove ... hatemongers, sheathed in sanctity, and to the Koch brothers, the types that fund them and use them so effectively for their own political power-grabbing purposes. Over the past several decades, the power-grabbing right has built a powerful infrastructure - radio and TV stations and networks. They've built think tanks, colleges and law schools."

SAVING AMERICA IN 4 EASY STEPS You've no doubt heard about the "No New Tax Pledge."
According to the national press cartel, the Democratic Party and even a few Republicans, this simple pledge politicians willingly take to impress voters has virtually destroyed representative government, bankrupted Washington and turned otherwise rational politicians into robot-like automotans incapable of rendering sound opinions and crafting responsible budget legislation.

MUSLIM EXTREMIST THROWS ACID ON CHRISTIAN BISHOP IN UGANDAIslamic extremists threw acid on a church leader on Christmas Eve shortly after a seven-day revival at his church, leaving him with severe burns that have blinded one eye and threaten sight in the other.
Bishop Umar Mulinde, 37, a sheikh (Islamic teacher) before his conversion to Christianity, was attacked on Saturday night (Dec. 24) outside his Gospel Life Church International building in Namasuba, about 10 kilometers (six miles) outside of Kampala. From his hospital bed in Kampala, he told Compass that he was on his way back to the site for a party with the entire congregation and hundreds of new converts to Christianity when a man who claimed to be a Christian approached him.

GET READY FOR A OBAMA-CLINTON PRESIDENTIAL TICKETMy political prediction for 2012 (based on absolutely no inside information): Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden swap places. Biden becomes Secretary of State - a position he's apparently coveted for years. And Hillary Clinton, Vice President.
So the Democratic ticket for 2012 is Obama-Clinton.
Why do I say this? Because Obama needs to stir the passions and enthusiasms of a Democratic base that's been disillusioned with his cave-ins to regressive Republicans. Hillary Clinton on the ticket can do that.

TOURNAMENT OF ROSES TO OCCUPIERS: YOU CAN'T MARCH IN OUR PARADEAlthough an Occupy Wall Street protest group in Pasadena, Calif., tried to get a slot to march in the Rose Parade on Jan. 2, officials with the parade said no. The group now plans to march down the street behind a group of police cars that mark the end of the parade.
In November, the Occupy group announced its plans to "occupy" the parade, but the Pasadena Tournament of Roses provided a statement on Wednesday to CNSNews.com saying that protesters would "not be taking part in the Rose Parade" because only official entries, approved by the tournament well in advance of the event, can take part in the event.

HUGO CHAVEZ WONDERS IF USA GAVE HIM CANCER
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavezhinted that the U.S. may be behind a "very strange" bout of cancer affecting several leaders aligned with him in South America.
Chavez, speaking a day after Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, said the Central Intelligence Agency was behind chemical experiments in Guatemala in the 1940s and that it's possible that in years to come a plot will be uncovered that shows the U.S. spread cancer as a political weapon against its critics.

OBAMA MIGHT REFUSE TO MEET WITH FOREIGN LEADERThe Obama administration is weighing an unprecedented diplomatic act - whether to bar a friendly president from U.S. soil.
American officials were evaluating on Tuesday an awkward request from Yemeni strongman and longtime U.S. counterterrorism partner Ali Abdullah Saleh. Saleh has said he plans to come to the United States for medical treatment for injuries suffered in a June assassination attempt, and he has asked for a U.S. visa for entry to the country. Fearful of appearing to harbor an autocrat with blood on his hands, the Obama administration was trying to ensure that Saleh visits only for medical care and doesn't plan to stay, U.S. officials said.

NYT: OBAMA GAINS REPUTATION AS DISTANT IN WASHINGTON- Air Force One had just landed in Manchester, N.H., on a brisk Tuesday morning last month when President Obama made an admission to Valerie B. Jarrett, his close friend and senior adviser.
"I just called Reggie," Mr. Obama said. It was his first domestic trip without Reggie Love, the former Duke University basketball player who had been his constant companion and presidential "body man" until he left in November to study for his M.B.A. full time. "I miss him," the president confessed.
More noteworthy than Mr. Obama's spending the short flight calling his longtime aide is what he did not do: schmooze with Washington politicians. No one from the New Hampshire Congressional delegation traveled with Mr. Obama on the plane, a perk that presidents often offer to lawmakers to foster good will.
