NO THANKS SUPERMAN!
SAN ANTONIO  CHRISTIAN HOMELESS SHELTER

IS LOOKING FOR 40 REAL HEROES

batman superman

Located east of the Alamodome on North Hackberry Street, Strong Foundation is a Christ-centered, no-nonsense homeless ministry providing shelter for 20 families with children. And it's one of the Alamo City's best kept secrets.

In 2011, they've ministered to over 200 children -- more that any other previous year. And right now, they're looking for 40 heroes. Not fictional superheroes like Batman and Superman.

strong foundation kids
Strong Foundation, a Christian homeless shelter for families,
shares Christ with families with kids like the ones in the above picture.

No, they're looking for some real Christian heroes right here in San Antonio or across the country who can empower them to keep ministering to the homeless through food, shelter, job training, and evangelistic witness.

Check out this video below what God has been doing through this unique ministry which refuses to accept a dime of government money because they want to continue sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ with the homeless families.

OBAMA: I NEED ANOTHER $1.2 TRILLION

The approval is expected to go through without a challenge, given that Congress is in recess until later in January and the request is in line with an agreement to keep the U.S. government funded into 2013.

POOR GOP LEADERSHIP MAKES OBAMA MORE DANGEROUS

I'm not applauding the legislative deal that John Boehner and House Republicans cobbled together to extend the payroll tax cut. Some may say I'm being overly difficult - to which I would reply: "No, I'm not - I'm saying enough is enough. I'm saying that I am sick of Boehner's ineptness and that I am sick of his feckless charade of leadership."

I'm sick of the oft-regurgitated bromide that says, "We have to pick our battles." I'm neither a political neophyte nor a Republican ideologue who blindly accepts the argument that "extending the payroll tax cuts was important, but this is even better because we've forced Obama to make a decision on the Keystone XL oil pipeline project." Those of us who have been around the political block know political speak when we hear it, and we know when politicians are playing us for fools.

A former aide to Ron Paul has labelled the Republican White House hopeful as "anti-Israel" after the rediscovery of racially charged newsletters published under the lawmaker's name in the 1980s and 1990s.

DICK MORRIS: RON PAUL 'TERRIFYING,' ROMNEY'S 'APOSTASIES'

With Ron Paul surging in Iowa polls, Dick Morris, the Fox News analyst and Republican strategist, warns of horrific consequences for the GOP if he wins the GOP nomination.

In a column released on Dickmorris.com this weekend, Morris writes:

"Ron Paul remains terrifying. He is really the ultimate liberal in the race. He wants to legalize drugs, repeal the Patriot Act, slash our military spending, pull out of Afghanistan... On these issues, he's way, way to the left of Obama. What makes him a conservative is hard to tell. But, whatever he is, he would be a disaster as the Republican candidate. His bland assertion in the last debate, that 'anyone' will beat Obama is both self-serving and inaccurate. He wouldn't. Anyone who votes for Paul and is not brought up short by his denuding us in our defenses against terrorism and his passivity in the face of Iranian nuclear weapons, has to realize that nominating him is tantamount to re-electing Obama."
