DUGGAR FAMILY SNAPS PICS OF MISCARRIED BABYThey live their life under the media glare, so
The Duggars felt it important to share their tragedy too.
The stars of "19 Kids And Counting" sadly lost the child Michelle Duggar miscarried last Sunday, by uploading a heartbreaking picture on Twitter in her memory.
The photograph shows Michelle reaching out to touch daughter Jubilee's tiny hand, with the juxtaposition of size deeply moving.
While Michelle obviously displays a fully grown adult hand, Jubilee's is incredibly tiny, with her palm half the size of her mother's finger tip.
The deeply religious Duggar family held a memorial service yesterday, having announced the sad news last week on December 8.
Amy Duggar, a cousin who frequently appears on their hit TLC reality show tweeted the picture, saying: 'RIP precious Jubilee Shalom Duggar! Can't wait to meet you someday, thank you Lord for giving our family peace.'
At the ceremony, a selection of photos - which some might find distressing - were distributed to guests, with one image showing Jubilee's tiny feet on Michelle's hand, with the message: 'There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.'
Michelle was five months pregnant when she learned the news during a check-up to find out the sex and the doctor failed to find a heartbeat.
Radar Online report that Jubilee weighed just 4oz and measured 6cm when she was stillborn on December 11.
Husband Jim expressed his sadness, but says the child is now in heaven.
He said: 'We won't see this child's life and the phases that we've seen for our other children, but we know we will see this child in heaven one day.
'We are thankful for each child, and we are blessed to have the children we have here and the ones we will meet someday in heaven.'
The couple escaped tragedy when 19th child Josie was born five months premature, however she celebrated her second birthday last Saturday.

OBAMA RE-ELECTION ODDS ROUGHLY 50-50Entering 2012, President Barack Obama's re-election prospects are essentially a 50-50 proposition, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll. It found that most Americans say the president deserves to be voted out of office even though they have concerns about the Republican alternatives.
Obama's overall standing in the poll suggests he could be in jeopardy of losing re-election even as the survey showed that public's outlook on the economy appears to be improving. For the first time since spring, more people said the economy got better in the past month than said it got worse. The president's approval rating on unemployment shifted upward - from 40 percent in October to 45 percent in the latest poll - as the jobless rate fell to 8.6 percent last month, its lowest level since March 2009.

He died protecting his country from brutal Mexican gangsters. Two AK-47 assault rifles were found at his death site. We now know the horrifying truth: Agent Terry was killed by weapons that were part of an illegal Obama administration operation to smuggle arms to the dangerous drug cartels. He was a victim of his own government. This is not only a major scandal; it is a high crime that potentially reaches all the way to the White House, implicating senior officials. It is President Obama's Watergate.

In a forceful attack, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann said Gingrich "had his hand out and received $1.6 million to influence senior Republicans and keep the scam going in Washington, D.C.," for Freddie Mac, a government-backed housing entity.

Never heard of Ashley Madison? Me neither, but according to my email in box, AshleyMadison.com (Link? Are you serious?) is, ahem, "the world's premier extra-marital dating site with over 12 million members in 17 countries." And here you were bemoaning the lack of entrepreneurship in America. Anyway, the other claim to fame at Ashleymadison.com is that they're big fans of current Republican 2012 frontrunner Newt Gingrich.

How big? They've erected (where are Beavis and Butthead when you need them?) a giant billboard monment to fhe former house speaker which is located, for reasons known only to them, on Route 1 in Bucks County in what their e-mail release calls the "sleepy town" (Blogger's note: Ouch!) of Morrisville, just across the Delaware River from Trenton.
If you can't read the signage above, it says "Faithful Republican...Unfaithful Husband."
Says the news release from a company CEO that I don't feel like naming: "Gingrich proves that marital fidelity has no bearing on someone's ability to do a job. Rather than judge him, Americans have finally embraced the reality that affairs are commonplace, and perhaps paradoxically, might be an indication of great leadership to come. He is not the first nor last politician who will step outside of their marriage."

It was a remarkably sedate affair with the frontrunning candidates - former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney - playing it safe and staying away from any direct attacks on one another.
WINNERS*
Michele Bachmann: Bachmann is an underrated - or maybe just overlooked - debater. Since a lull in the early fall, she's been very solid in these forums, and put together a strong performance tonight.
For second tier candidates - like Bachmann - debates are about fighting for air time and drawing contrasts with the frontrunners. She did both.
Bachmann slammed Texas Rep. Ron Paul for his position on Iran and hammered Gingrich for taking money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. She also was forceful - and effective - when she lashed out at Gingrich for repeatedly acting dismissively toward her. A nice night for Bachmann.
*
Rick Perry: Given the Texas Governor's disastrously bad past debate performances, it's always tough to know if you are grading him on a curve. But, for the second straight debate, Perry was energetic and forceful. He stayed on his outsider message - part time Congress etc. - and only very occasionally drifted into the he's-saying-words-but-they-don't-mean-anything territory.

McManus Note: (That stands for "Shut The (Bleep) Up"
 |
Libtalker / Former CNN Host Bill Press- 'S-T-F-U Tim Tebow!' |
You've heard of religious hypocrites who
wear religion on their sleeves? As quarterback for the University of Florida, Tebow first attracted national attention - and 100 million Google hits - by wearing religion on his face. For every game, he referenced a verse of Scripture on his black eye patches. It was his way of saying to the world: "Hey, look at me! I'm a Christian! I read the Bible!"
Today, as quarterback of the Denver Broncos, Tebow takes religion to a new public level, dramatically dropping to one knee in prayer after every touchdown - a pose now officially known as "tebowing" - and crediting Jesus for every success on the field. Last week, after the Broncos' overtime win against the Chicago Bears,
Tebow gushed to reporters: "I guess, first and foremost, I'd like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ." Oh, yeah, and after that, "I just want to thank my teammates and coaches."
To which I just want to say: "Shut up!" OK, so Tim Tebow's a Christian. Good for him. He's also a mediocre quarterback, is frequently sacked, throws wildly and often misses his target.
More to the point,
Tebow's constant praying to and braying about Jesus trivializes Christianity. If religion's about anything, it's about more important matters than who wins a bingo game or football game. And I was taught in Sunday school that one's faith is not something to brag about. In fact, for his next black eye patch, I suggest Tebow sport Matthew 6:5-6: "When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners. ... When you pray, pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
Now, if you're one of the silly millions who still see nothing wrong with Tebow's in-your-face brand of religion, consider this: What if Tim Tebow were a devout Muslim who bowed to Mecca after every touchdown while shouting: "Allahu Akbar!" Somehow, I don't think we'd be celebrating him as a national hero.
