DID BO RETURN FROM HAWAII FOR OBAMA'S PHOTO OP?
Bo Obama was supposed to be in Hawaii. Instead, he showed up at President Obama's side Wednesday shopping for treats at PetSmart
According to Michelle Obama's press office, the first dog was planning to go to Hawaii with the first lady and the Obama daughters. The Chicago Sun-Times reported that he in fact had gone there. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser quoted an eyewitness who said he had seen the Portuguese Water Dog having his walk.

CARTER OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO NORTH KOREA
Former President Jimmy Carter has sent North Korea a message of condolence over the death of Kim Jong-il and wished "every success" to the son expected to take over as dictator, according to the communist country's state-run news agency.
A dispatch from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Mr. Carter sent the message to Kim Jong-un, Kim Jong-il's third son and heir apparent.

ROMNEY SAYS HE'D DEPORT OBAMA'S UNCLE
Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney says he would deport President Barack Obama's uncle, who police said was arrested in August for drunken driving near Boston and is an illegal immigrant.
In an interview with Boston radio host Howie Carr on Wednesday, Romney said "yes" when asked if Onyango Obama should be deported. Romney at first did not recognize the name, but said the nation's immigration laws should be enforced.
