The Parents' Place of Maryland is an organization founded and staffed by parents of children with disabilities and special health care needs. Since 1990, we have provided information, resources, advocacy, and support to other parents of children with special needs in Maryland. Our services are free to parents and include helping parents navigate special education and health care systems, training in advocacy and leadership development and working with service systems to improve care for children with disabilities and families.

The Parents' Place is Maryland's Parent Training and Information Center, Family-to-Family Health Information Center, and serves as Maryland's State Implementation Grantee through funding from the U.S. Bureau of Maternal and Child Health.

The Parents' Place is Maryland's Family Voices state affiliated organization.
