Estella A Salon
Ashley Dow has always wanted to open up a nontraditional beauty salon
in downtown Lincoln and last month, that is exactly what she did. Growing up near downtown Lincoln always gave Ashley the feeling of living in a small town with big attractions. After working at 48th and Vine as
a hair artist Ashley decided to gravitate toward the attractions and moved downtown to 325 S. 9th St.
Estella A-Salon offers a unique atmosphere, primarily due to their eccentric hot pink walls and white comfy chairs. Ashley also offers a trendy style that compliments the eclectic environment. She
currently rents out five stations for hair artists to work and would already
like to expand to include an area for manicures and pedicures. Currently, Estella A-Salon offers waxing,
make-up service and a full service salon to meet anyone's wants. They offer bridal party packages along with
mail-outs for specials they are having.
To make an appointment or sign up to get their mail out
specials call Estella A-Salon at 438-6284.

Ain't Misbehavin' at the Lied Saturday, April 18 - 2:00PM | Saturday, April 18 - 7:30PM
AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' is a musical revue with a book by Murray Horwitz
and Richard Maltby, Jr., music by Thomas Wright "Fats" Waller, and
lyrics by various writers. The outrageously prodigious comic and
musical soul of 1930s Harlem lives on in this rollicking, swinging,
finger-snapping revue that is still considered one of Broadway's best
well-crafted revues of all time - sometimes sassy, sometimes sultry,
with moments of devastating beauty. AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' starring Ruben
Studdard and Frenchie Davis, of "American Idol" fame, is simply
unforgettable.
