A little over two years ago, arrangements were made which would lead to the construction of a new school building at the St. Jerome COVE Center, in Uganda. As was mentioned in recent bulletin articles, that building was dedicated this past August in honor of Sue's memory. Full Speech

Missionary Groups Depart for Uganda

This July 4, the first of three groups going to Uganda this summer will depart from O'Hare.  It is an exciting time for COVE Alliance. Over the next two months, COVE Uganda will host the largest number of delegates ever. In total, 23 people will make the trip. Of those 23, sixteen will be going for the first time.  What a wonderful adventure they have in store.

It is with deep gratitude that I write to report on the positive impact of the $15,000 grant provided by the Mary Alphonse Bradley Fund to COVE Alliance for the fiscal year 2011. This grant was given to support COVE Alliance in its efforts to improve training and education opportunities for the St. Jerome COVE Center Community through the acquisition of water tanks, the implementation of staff capacity training as well as education equipment for the community at large.
