Senior Kelley Curran | | |
Congratulations to Senior Kelley Curran! Kelley received the "Millenium Scholars Award" for a full ride (tuition, room and board for four years) based on academics to Troy University in Alabama. Troy University is a Division 1 school with approximately 7500 undergrads. Troy University competes in the Sun Belt Conference. Kelley was recruited after Troy's volleyball coach came to watch her play in the Las Vegas Invitational in which her club team (Woodlands Wave 18 Under Armour) took 3rd place out of 176 teams.
Kelley plans to major in Sports Management with the ultimate career goal of being a head coach of a Division 1 collegiate volleyball program.
Kelly would like to say a special thanks to her mom and dad, her grandparents, Coach Stout, Coach DeHaven, Coach Marucci, and her club coaches-Coach Everett and Coach Joe, for helping her succeed on and off the court. Special thanks to all of her teachers at OSL and LHN who gave her the tools to succeed in what she has achieved in and out of the classroom.

College & Testing Information | | |
JUNIORS -Now is the time to register for the spring administration of the SAT and/or the ACT. The spring dates for the SAT testing are 5/7 & 6/4 and for the ACT testing are 4/9 & 6/11. There are no July or August testing dates. Register online ( use the LHN high school code - 443399 ) at www.sat.collegeboard.com and www.actstudent.org.
SAT TEST PREP CLASS - LHN will be offering a 6 week SAT test prep course through Revolution Prep starting on March 26th and ending on May 4th. There will be 6 class sessions on weekday nights from 6-9pm. and 6 practice exams on Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm. This class will be available to ALL STUDENTS but generally most beneficial to Juniors and Sophomores. Registration will be online. There will be an email soon detailing the class and the website to use. Final details are still being worked out.
Practice PSAT for 9th and 10th graders - Saturday, March 19th and also April 16th. This is an actual PSAT test which will be proctored and timed as a real test. Cost is $10. If you would like to take the test but that is not a good day for you, please contact Mrs. Eickemeyer.
Test results for the EXPLORE (freshmen), PLAN (sophomores), and PSAT (juniors) have been distributed. Please contact Mrs. Eickemeyer if you have questions. |

*LHN is happy to announce all college acceptances. A special red sign is also placed on the student's locker. Please bring a copy of your acceptance letter and give to Mrs. Mary Heath for your file.
**Copies of the letters awarding scholarships, their amounts and conditions should also been given to Mrs. Heath for your file. These amounts are documented and the total amount of the class as a group is published in the senior profile book distributed at graduation.

Lutheran Band Students! | | |
Calling all Hosts & Hostesses! Get your homes ready!
Here is your opportunity to share the gift of hospitality. Houston is the destination for the
bands of Lake Country Lutheran High School and Martin Luther High School, Milwaukee,
WI. We are in need of housing for this group of high school students. They will be
performing at Lutheran High North on Thursday, March 24th at 7:00 p.m.
Come hear their concert and then take them home!
Basic needs include:
Evening snack
Bed
Shower
Breakfast
Please return them to Lutheran High North by Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. If you are
able to help out, please fill out the information below. If you have additional dottieburroughs@lutheranhighnorth.org, or call 832-
398-9064. Usually the students come in groups of 2. This group has 61 members, so we
can use many homes!

Senior Beau Johnson | | |
Beau Johnson, senior golfer, has been consistently placing in the top ten at each tournament. There are usually about 100 golfers and Beau is averaging a score of 85. We are proud of Beau and wish he and his teammates the best in the upcoming District, Regional and State tournaments. |
