Every school year we are faced with saying good bye to the Eighth Grade class. This year (sadly) we will also be saying good bye to Father Patrick. Father Patrick's last mass at Notre Dame will be June 1st. June 1st will also be the last day for Eighth Grade Class. We will be having a "tailgate party" over the regular school lunch hour to celebrate and offer our best wishes to the Eighth Grade Class and Father Patrick. All are welcome to attend. We will be serving Brat's, Hot Dog's, Baked Beans, and Potato Salad (milk and water for refreshments). (Please bring $1.00 for the meal, students can also bring a cold lunch)
I want to congratulate and thank Mary Van Dycke, who is retiring, after over twenty years of service in the Notre Dame kitchen. Thank you for your dedication to make wonderful and healthy food for the children!!
I also want to extend a big thank you to John Steckart for serving as the ND Athletic Director for the past several years!!!! (John has decided to retire from the AD position)John has been, and I am sure will continure to be an enthusiastic supporter of Notre Dame athletics and Notre Dame in general. Please welcome Lynn Wolfram as the new Athletic Director. Thank you Lynn for taking on the very important role of Athletic Director.

Spring Concert/Art Exhibit!!
Don't forget the Spring Concert and Art Exhibit tomorrow! Please enjoy the Fine Arts by attending our Spring Concert in the Middle School gym. Performances are at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. While there, enjoy the Visual Arts by strolling through the Art Exhibit at the Dolski Center. Work by every K - 8 student will be on display. Finally, enjoy the Culinary Arts by supporting the bake sale (put on by student council) that will be held at the Dolski Center. Spanish Camp!!
Notre Dame of De Pere is please to offer a Summer 2012 Spanish Camp! If you are interested in signing up for this camp, continue to fill out and turn in the registration form below. As a reminder, this camp will fill on a first come basis with Notre Dame families having the first opportunity to sign up. Registration will open to students attending other schools on Friday, May 25th. This class will be a 1 week camp for K-8 taught by Mr. Risic the week of June 25th. Scrip is a vital part of the Notre Dame of De Pere Fund-raising efforts. The school would love to continue to allow families to purchase Scrip throughout the summer, but will need volunteers to make this possible. This is a great way to get a jump start on the required school volunteer hours and assist with an important fund-raising opportunity. If available to help out June 11 through August 30 for one of the opportunities below, please click on the link to sign up. Please sign up for at least 3-4 dates and all the necessary training will be provided to fulfill any of these positions which are located at the Notre Dame Middle School Scrip Office.
1. Every other Monday (8-10 am)- Enter in the Scrip orders and count inventory

Our goal is to serve fantastic, healthy food in a fast, friendly, school cafeteria environment. Please plan on joining St. Francis Xavier Parish for their picnic June 3rd, 10am - 5pm for food, games, silent auction, music and much more. All game proceeds will go to Notre Dame School. Saturday night join us for a pasta dinner from 5pm - 8pm.
Lost & Found: Is your child missing a sweatshirt or hat? Come and take a look at the lost & found items at both schools. Any items left after June 6th will be donated to Goodwill.
The last uniform day will be this Friday, May 25th. Please dress approptiately for he remainder of the school year. Summer is coming!
