Dear Notre Dame Families:

 

Maps testing is almost completed (we have a few students that are making up the test). Maps test results will be sent home very soon.  More to follow.

 

The 2012-2013 calendar is available in the Elementary School office and Middle School office and is also being posted on the Notre Dame web page.  Mark your calendars for next year. 

 

The Notre Dame CLASS ALUMNI event will be take place Saturday, May 19th.  We are hosting tours of the elementary and middle school as well as a special mass for All Alumni before the reunion. Your help will be needed for these events. Look for a sign-up genius coming next week. To purchase tickets for this inaugural event click here. Current school parents are welcome to join us in the festivities.

Scrip can be purchased through May 27th to be applied towards this years required $250.  If you haven't been buying scrip or plan to during the month of May, please pay your amount due from the statement you should have received by email on May 2nd.  If you haven't received a statement, please call Tracy at the Middle School

SCRIP Summer Volunteers

Scrip is a vital part of the Notre Dame of De Pere Fund-raising efforts.  The school would love to continue to allow families to purchase Scrip throughout the summer, but will need volunteers to make this possible.  This is a great way to get a jump start on the required school volunteer hours and assist with an important fund-raising opportunity.  If available to help out June 11 through August 30 for one of the opportunities below, please click on the link to sign up.  Please sign up for at least 3-4 dates and all the necessary training will be provided to fulfill any of these positions which are located at the Notre Dame Middle School Scrip Office. 
1. Every other Monday (8-10 am)- Enter in the Scrip orders and count inventory
2. Every Wednesday - 2 people needed from 8-10:30 to fill Scrip Orders/Count Inventory
3. Every Thursday - 2 people needed from 8-10 am to Sell Scrip/Count Inventory

Notre Dame of De Pere is looking to hire a full time (or two part time) assistant cook(s) to work during school hours (8:15 am-2:15pm) in our cafeteria.  Our goal is to serve fantastic, healthy food in a fast, friendly, school cafeteria environment.  If you are interested in joining our team please email your resume to Jodi Danen at jdanen@stmarydepere.org or send to P.O. Student Council will be having a Bake Sale on Thursday, May 24th, before and after the afternoon and evening Spring Concert.  If anyone is interested in donating baked goods, please drop them off at the MS on Wednesday, May 23rd.

    

Spanish Camp!!
Notre Dame of De Pere is pleased to offer a 1 week Spanish camp for K-8. This class will be taught by Mr. Risic the week of June 25th.  Notre Dame families will have the first opportunity to sign up and on May 22nd it will open up to children attending other schools. Please see the attached flyer for further information. 

 

Service hours are now due.  Please turn in your service hours by Friday, May 18th.  Families who have not completed their service hours will be billed $12.50 per hour for 1 child; $25.00 per hour for 2 children; and $37.50 per hour for 3 children.  This amount will be payable upon receipt.

 

Please plan on joining St. Francis Xavier Parish for their picnic June 3rd, 10am - 5pm for food, games, silent auction, music and much more.  All game proceeds will go to Notre Dame School.  Saturday night join us for a pasta dinner from 5pm - 8pm.


Lamers Bus would like to get a count of students that will be riding the bus during 2012-2013 school year.  Please fill out the Lamers Bus Form by May 21st.  There are details on the form regarding eligibility etc.

 

Lost & Found:  Is your child missing a sweatshirt or hat?  Come and take a look at the lost & found items at both schools.  Any items left after June 6th will be donated to Goodwill.
