Opportunities for Learning
STC Educational Webinar Series 2010 Overview of Federal Ozone Depleting Substances Regulations for Recycling and Emissions Reduction (40 CFR Part 82 Subpart F) Mr. Joseph B. Cotier, CPEA August 18, 2010 2:00 PM EDT/11:00 AM PT
Free! All are welcome. The Federal ODS regulations found in 40 CFR Part 82 are often overlooked or simply misunderstood. Subpart F- Recycling and Emissions Reductions applies to those who own, operate, service, maintain, repair, or dispose of appliances and focuses on the programs that users of refrigerants must implement to remain in compliance. These regulations govern not only what types of refrigerants may be used in commercial and industrial applications, but also prescribe specific recordkeeping and repair measures that must be followed to demonstrate soundness of a refrigerant system.
USEPA actively enforces these regulations and over the past few years there have been several high profile actions by the agency that have resulted in large fines being issues for recordkeeping violations. Therefore, it is of paramount importance to have a firm understanding of what the regulation requires and how to implement proper ODS recordkeeping programs. Join us for a webinar that outlines the requirements and identifies the potential regulatory pitfalls of 40 CFR Part 82 Subpart F. Our presenter will be Mr. Joseph B. Cotier, CPEA, a Principal with Specialty Technical Consultants who has more than 20 years of EHS auditing and air pollution control experience.
Space is limited; Reserve your Webinar seat now at: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/422762098
