Dear Parents: The last day of school, December 23, 2011, has been set aside as a time of celebration for the Christmas season. - 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Christmas student activities such as crafts, baking, outdoor carol singing, and games will be happening in a rotation basis.
- 11:45 a.m. - Pizza lunch
- 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Refreshments for parents
- 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Christmas assembly
- 3:15 p.m. - Dismissal for all grades
We trust that this will be a wonderful way to wrap up the year. Parents are welcome to come to the refreshments and assembly. For those who have inquired regarding teacher Christmas gift donations, a box has been set up in the office where you can deposit them. HAVE A BLESSED AND SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON! Yours in His Service,

- Assembly starts at 1:30 p.m. and parents are welcome to join us.
- Before and After School Club's closing will be earlier at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2011, the last day of school before Christmas break.

Report Cards
If you have not already done so, students need to sign and return bottom section of page 3 and parents need to sign and return the bottom section of page 4 of the report card and return it to the school with the report card envelope as soon as possible. For J.K. report cards, please sign the "Response Form" sheet inserted into the report card and return it with the report card envelope, as soon as possible. S.K. parents need to sign and return page 4 of their report cards and return it with the envelope as soon as possible.

 Ski Lakeridge
We wish to remind those of you who registered for skiing and snowboarding lessons that they will be starting Friday, January 20, 2012, at Lakeridge Ski Resort for 5 weeks.

 Lights Out in S.K.
Last week, the Senior Kindergarten class wore new uniforms - their pajamas!! This was for the wrap-up of their nocturnal animal unit. The students had a great time having school in the dark!! Thank you Mrs. Murray for making learning so much fun.

Portable Electronic Devices
We are assuming that after Christmas that there will be an increase of electronic devices, and we want to remind students and parents of our policy concerning these devices. The school policy is as follows: devices must be stored in lockers or in backpacks and must be turned off from 8:10 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. (The only time they should be in use is in Before and After School). Our reasoning is that we want the students to be active when they are outside for recess not sitting down and playing with video games. Also, this policy helps prevent loss and damage.

Walkathon Receipts
Watch for your walkathon receipts coming home on December 23rd with your child.
