Greetings!
Re: Whitby Parade, Saturday, December 3 - 10:00 a.m. We are preparing again for the Whitby Parade this Saturday. Our float was touted as one of the best in the Ajax parade. Thank you to everyone who assisted with the float as well as to all of you who attended and cheered us on along the route. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at Manning and Brock in Whitby and ends at Centennial Rotary Park, 3 km. south around Noon. After the parade, PCS will be offering refreshments again in the gym - hot chocolate, punch and baked goodies, starting around 11:30 a.m. Please come and celebrate the "Reason for the Season" with us. One special note: Thank you to all of you who have agreed to walk. We now have enough walkers. The parade organizers have asked that the walkers be costumed, therefore, we have had to restrict our number of walkers to allow for preparation of the costumes. See you Saturday.
Yours in His Service,
P.D. Ogborne, Ed.D.

J.K.'s Walk to The Fire Station
The Junior Kindergartens had a wonderful visit to the fire station on Wednesday, November 23rd. Each of the students took turns sitting in the fire trucks and learning about the important job the firefighters do. Many thanks to the parent volunteers who helped us walk to and from the fire station. Everyone in the class received their very own fire hats to take home!

On November 18th and 19th, the girls' and boys' teams competed at the Knox Invitational Volleyball Tournament, in Bowmanville. Both teams made it to the playoffs. Last Monday, the senior boys volleyball team placed 3rd in the ACSI Volleyball tournament at Philopateer Christian College, in Mississauga. On November 30th, the senior girls volleyball participated in the ACSI Volleyball tournament, also at Philopateer Christian College. They played hard. Great job!
