NATIONAL BRAND FUND

Latest Key Performance Indicators Now Posted

The latest key performance indicator (KPI) data on call volume and digital traffic is now available. Comfort Keepers®' commercials were on air for four of the five weeks in June (as compared to being on air two of four weeks in May) and the average weekly call volume generated during on-air weeks improved 13% over May's call volume. There was also a 17% increase in call volume generated by the television advertisements in June compared to May.

The National Brand Fund (NBF) committee made one major change to the network buy during this time frame. Because the BIO network dramatically changed its programming to appeal to a different audience, the committee decided to drop it and find other networks with show line-ups that better appeal to the Comfort Keepers' target market. The NBF will now be testing two new networks, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and INSP, in September.

While your local website traffic is still showing lower volume than in 2013, June 2014 shows continuing improvement over May 2014. The national website, ComfortKeepers.com, continues to outperform last year's volume thanks in large part to the pay-per-click campaign.

Check out the full report and find the media schedule through September on Members > Administration > National Brand Fund.

If you have any questions about the NBF, feel free to contact Jack Warren, Chairman of the NBF Committee, at JackWarren@ComfortKeepers.com.

Transition Programs

Did you know you can find industry information on accountable care organizations (ACOs) and transition programs on the Member's site?

New health care reform laws have opened up new opportunities for in-home care providers as medical entities look for avenues to comply with new laws to reduce readmission rates. The Industry Updates section of CK Brand, located at Members > CK Brand > Sales > Transitions/ACO > Industry Updates, provides information on Medicare readmission rates and the Health Recovery Solutions site, which provides a tool that identifies the readmission rate penalties at hospitals. Learn more about this growing opportunity and visit CK Brand today.

For more information on ACOs and transition programs, contact David Simic, Vice President of Business Development, at DavidSimic@ComfortKeepers.com.
