 Affordable Care Act Delayed
The Affordable Care Act, the employer mandate that requires businesses to provide their workers with health insurance, has been delayed a year until January 1, 2015. The mandate required that businesses with 50 or more fulltime employees, like many of our Comfort Keepers ®, provide health care coverage for their employees. Agency Summit on July 9th
 This is an exciting point in the process - one we have all been working towards! On Tuesday, July 9th, the National Branding Committee and the CKFI Marketing team will be meeting with, and onboard the agencies that will help us launch the national advertising. Red212, Empower Media, and the call routing organization will meet with us, and together we will map out roles and accountabilities, deliverables, timelines, response measurement, and rollout and communication to the franchisee community. This pivotal meeting is the springboard for "getting the wheels in motion" to get Comfort Keepers ® advertising on air. Please continue to tune into the Friday Flash for progress reports.

New Sales Course Available
 Enhance your learning and hone your sales skills. 'Sales Simulation - Improving Your Sales Technique Through Practice', is a newly created interactive simulation course which has been added to Silverchair. This course will take you through a brief review of the sales process and then proceed to engage you in three different referral source meetings. It should be used after the completion of 'Sales 101' and/or 'Salesapalooza'. Find this course on Silverchair in the 'All Electives' catalog or the 'Office Staff Electives' catalog.

 How would you improve our scheduling system? Now is the time to let your voice be heard by participating in a quick survey. The CK Operations Management Systems Committee needs your input to improve the features functionality of the present systems. The committee will gather all suggestions for functionality improvements and additions, categorize and prioritize the suggestions, and then discuss with the system vendors to integrate the suggestions into the future development plans. The committee is also charged with reviewing and evaluating new systems on the market to see if any meet the rigors of a Comfort Keepers® franchise operation.
