Servoflo offers many media-compatible pressure sensors along the price-performance continuum. Today we are highlighting 2 options.

The first is the ME780 Series by Metallux. The ME780 family uses a hybrid technology and Metallux's chip-on-board expertise to have signal conditioning directly integrated on top of the sensor. Together with membrane media-compatibility, the sensors offer a compact solution and precise temperature compensation. The sensor is available in many pressure ranges between 0.5 to 600 Bar, and delivers a ratiometric output of 0.5 to 4.5 VDC. Overvoltage, short circuit and ESD protection included.

Next, the 86BSD by Measurement Specialities is a small profile, media compatible, piezoresistive silicon pressure 

sensors packaged in a 316L stainless steel housing. This digital output pressure sensor supports I2C and SPI interface protocols, may come in a 3.3 or 5.0 VDC supply voltage and is designed for O-ring mounting. The sensing package utilizes silicone oil to transfer pressure from the 316L stainless steel diaphragm to the sensing element.

The 86BSD is designed for high performance, low pressure applications. A custom ASIC is used for temperature compensation, offset correction and provides a digital output of 10-90% or 5-95%. Various pressure ranges up to 300 psi.
