New Pressure Sensors From Alpha Instruments

AI161: Model AI161 Series has pressure ranges from 0.1" WC to 100" WC in both unidirectional and bi-directional models. The output is either 0-5 VDC or 0-10 VDC, where 0 VDC is true zero without offset. A 4-20 mA version is also available. All units are temperature-compensated. This model is similar to the Setra 264 & 265 Series. See specifications.

AI178: Model AI178 Series feature a push-activated ZERO function and an associated LCD display. The pressure ranges from 0.1" WC to 100" WC, unidirectional or bidirectional. The output is 2-wire 4-20 mA, fully protected against short circuiting and incorrect wiring. See specifications.

AI178A Series have a 3 1/2 digit LCD to show the pressure, also a push button switch (inside) for zero pressure calibration. The AI178A Series has a SS304 front panel and an IP65/NEMA 4 rated aluminum die casting enclosure. The pressure ranges from 0.1" WC to 100" WC, unidirectional or bidirectional. The output is 2-wire 4-20 mA, fully protected against short circuiting and incorrect wiring. See specifications.

AI179: Model AI179 Series has a push-activated pressure equalization button, two Zero push button switches, a LCD and two LED lamps. Zero calibration can be performed without disconnecting the pressure tubes. The pressure ranges from 20 Pa to 20Kpa, unidirectional or bidirectional. See specifications.

2 New Humidity Sensors

Servoflo is now carrying 2 humidity sensors by Measurement Specialties: the HTU21D Miniature Digital Humidity Sensor and the HTG3500 Low Cost Humidity Sensor.

The HTU21D humidity sensor sets new standards in terms of size and intelligence: Embedded in a reflow, solderable DFN package of 3 x 3 mm footprint and 1 mm height, it provides calibrated, linearized signals in digital, I2C format.

Direct interface with a micro-controller is made possible with the module's humidity and temperature digital outputs. HTU21D sensors have low power consumption designed for high volume and cost sensitive applications with tight space constraints.

With an estimated cost of $3.33 each at 1,000 pieces, the HTU21D has a very effective price-performance ratio.

HTG3500 Humidity & Temperature Sensor The HTG3500 is a humidity and temperature sensor with an analog output. Direct interface with a microcontroller is made possible with the module's humidity linear voltage and direct NTC outputs. The HTG3500 Series are designed for high volume and demanding applications where power consumption is critical. Features include:

Suitable for small bulk assembly
RoHS compliant, free from Lead, CR (6+), Cd and Hg
Better than +/- 3% RH and +/- 0.25C
Full interchangeability
Humidity calibrated within +/-3% RH @ 55% RH
Temperature measurement through NTC direct output
Reliability not affected by repeated condensation

The price of the HTG3500 is approximately $5.00 in orders of 1,000 pieces.

Micropumps

Higher Flow Pumps

In response to some requests for higher flow pumps, we have developed a relationship with TCS who manufactures higher flow pumps for both liquids and air. These pumps pick up where Bartels left off, with flow rates starting at 400 ml per minute and up.

Typical applications include medical, automotive, industrial, instrumentation and more.
