Ultra Low Pressure Sensors Series by Sensortechnics

 Microbridge has been purchased by Sensortechnics. With this change comes the arrival of 3 new ultra low and cost-effective pressure sensors. These sensors detect differential air (or other non-corrosive gas) pressure, inferring pressure from nano-liters per second gas flow through an integrated airflow channel having high flow impedance. The transducer is a MEMS-based thermo-anemometer on a monolithic silicon chip. 3 models are available, all have an uncompensated yet amplified output:
SQ440-12056 - differential, 2 ports, -0.1 to +2 inches H2O
SQ440-12057- gauge, 1 port, 0" to 1" H2O or 0" to 2" H2O
SQ440-12058 - gauge, 1 port, bi-directional +/-1" H2O or +/-2" H2O
Pricing for 100 pieces ranges from $23 to $27 each depending on the model.
Typical applications include HVAC, critical containment enclosures, breath detection and leak detection.

2 New Oxygen Sensor Modules

 Servoflo is pleased to announce 2 new oxygen sensor modules: the FCX-MLXX (image shown on left) and the FCX-MCXX.
The FXC-MLXX is a complete solution for measuring oxygen within the range of 0.1 - 25%. The sensor and electronics are integrated on one board. The microcontroller linearizes the sensor signal and provides an analog output of 4- 20 mA.
The FXC-MCXX measures oxygen within the range of 0.1 - 25% or 0.2 - 95%. The sensor and electronics are integrated on one board and also includes a linearized analog output of 4- 20 mA. The MC model is available with RS232, RS485 and I2C interfaces.

Sensor Signal Conditioning IC's Added!

 2 new sensor signal conditioning IC's by ZMDI have been added to our sales lineup.
ZSSC3026 is a sensor signal conditioner integrated circuit for high accuracy amplification and analog-to-digital conversion of a differential input signal. Designed for high resolution altimeter module applications, the ZSSC3026 can perform offset, span and 1st and 2nd order temperature compensation of the measured signal. Developed for correction of resistive bridge sensors, it can also provide a corrected temperature output measured with an internal sensor.

ZSSC1856 is a dual-channel ADC with an embedded microcontroller for battery sensing/management in automotive, industrial and medical systems. One of the two input channels measures the battery current IBAT via the voltage drop at the external shunt resistor. The second channel measures the battery voltage VBAT and the temperature. During Sleep Mode (e.g. engine off), the system makes periodic measurements to monitor the discharge of the battery. Measurement cycles are controlled by the software and include various wake-up conditions. The ZSSC1856 is optimized for ultra-low power consumption and draws only 100 ľA or less in this mode.
The ZSSC1856 received the Frost & Sullivan Europe New Product Innovation Award, citing its superiority over other battery management IC's. |
