New Amsys Pressure Sensors
AMS5015 and AMS5915 pressure sensorServoflo is pleased to announce 2 new pressure sensors from Amsys: AMS5105 and AMS5915.

AMS5105 combines high precision OEM pressure sensors with programmable pressure switches in one package. AMS5105 has an analog voltage output and two independent logic switching outputs. The analog voltage output is ratiometric to the supply voltage of 5V. The switching outputs are software configurable as normally open, normally closed or two window mode; threshold and hysteresis can be set individually. The pressure sensors/switches are calibrated and compensated for a wide temperature range of -25C to +85C.

AMS5105 pressure ranges includes: differential for 0-5 mbar up to 7 bar, an absolute pressure version for 0-1 bar and a barometric version. Bidirectional differences models are available in different ranges from -5 to +5 mbar up to -1 to +1 bar.

AMS5915 pressure sensors are a series of high-precision OEM sensors with a digital I2C interface. They combine a micromachined, high quality piezoresistive measuring cell with modern, digital signal conditioning mixed signal CMOS-ASIC on a ceramic substrate. AMS5915 is calibrated and compensated for a wide temperature range of -25C to +85C. A very low power supply of 3.0 to 3.6V is used.

Pressure ranges for the AMS5915 include: differential from 0-5 mbar up to 0-1 bar, an absolute pressure variant for 0-1 bar and a barometric type. Bidirectional differential devices are available in pressure ranges from -5 to +5 mbar up to -1 to +1 bar.

New SSIC's from ZMDI
ZSSC 313X family of sensor signal conditioning IC's5 new sensor signal conditioning IC's have been added to our web site!

The 313X Series is a family of CMOS integrated circuits for industrial and automotive applications. These sensor signal conditioning IC's can be used with nearly all types of resistive bridge sensors. A family approach allows for the best fitting selection for a cost-optimized application.

Available in RoHS-compliance JEDEC SSOP14 package or as die. Evaluation kits, application notes and mass calibration systems are available. All parts are AEC-Q100 qualified.

The new parts include:

ZSSC3131 for cost-optimized switch applications

ZSSC3135 for piezoresistive bridge sensors

ZSSC3136 for safety switch applications

ZSSC3138 for ceramic sensor applications

In addition, we are also announcing the ZSSC3016, an energy-efficient, high precision 16-bit sensor signal conditioner providing high accuracy amplification and high resolution output. Key features include:

  • Broad power supply range of 1.8 to 3.6V
  • Low current consumption of <1 mA
  • Noise-free 16 bit output signal for altitude resolution of <15 cm at sea level
  • Fully corrected digital output signal, simplifying system design

Designed for high resolution altimeter module applications, the ZSSC3016 is ideal for use in mobile phones, sport watches or outdoor GPS tracking systems.

Pressure Sensors Available

Servoflo has a line of low cost pressure sensors available that are not promoted on our web site. Pressure ranges from 1 psi and higher. Models can be either unamplified and uncompensated or fully temperature-compensated with an analog or digital output. Differential, gauge and absolute versions are available.

These sensors are ideal for cost-sensitive applications.
