The date a driver is first licensed is important to us. To ensure we have accurate information for each driver, date of first licensure enhancements were announced on March 28 for new business. For renewal policies, a separate letter - Policyholder License Date - will be mailed to policyholders to confirm that we have accurate information for each driver. The letter will include pre-filled driver information including operator name, license number, license state, and date first licensed.
Action Required By Policyholders
In our letter, we instruct policyholders to carefully review the pre-filled driver information. If the date of first licensure indicated does not reflect each driver's entire driving experience, including out of state experience, the policyholder is requested to make corrections in the space provided and return the form to Arbella in the postage paid envelope included with the letter. If the information is correct for all drivers, no response is necessary.
This will be a one-time mailing starting with renewals effective October 1. The letter will be sent directly to the policyholder approximately 112 days prior to renewal date. Policyholders will begin to receive the letter in June.
No action is required by agents. If you would like to view or print a copy of the letter, please use the Policy Document Search feature on Arbella Connect™. Simply enter the policy number and select License Date Letter from the document title drop-down. Letters will be available on Arbella Connect™ approximately 112 days prior to renewal date.
We may use the information listed or provided by the policyholder in calculating insurance premium.
Thank you for your business. We look forward to continuing to service your customers' insurance needs. If you have any questions feel free to contact your underwriter or territory manager.
