Springtime is one of my favourite times to travel back to my old home and stomping grounds in England and Europe. Everything is just...so...lush...and GREEN!
The flowers that the European's love so much decorate cottages and courtyards alike and bring one that refreshing feeling that winter is behind and summer just ahead.
This trip promises to be extra special this year, as I will be bringing along a very special person who has never really been to the places and countries that I hold so dear to my heart.

We shall stay in my picks of fine country house hotels, delightful B&B's, self catering rentals and word class resorts - to cover all forms of accommodation, from simple to posh.
From rambling through Hobbit-like lands discovering castles and romantic ruins to hiking the majestic Alps, we shall cover as much as we can in a mere three weeks.
