CBT for Depression
Beck Institute

In August, Erica Russell, staff therapist at the CBT Center, attended a special workshop on CBT for Depression by the Beck Institute in San Francisco. The CBT treatment for depression focuses on building awareness of and shifting negative automatic thoughts and core beliefs, as well as developing a plan to increase a client's daily activities.
