Message from the Director
Professional Development with HAIS
I am pleased to announce the first of many new professional development opportunities being offered by HAIS. The Teacher Leader Institute (TLI) is a 2 day workshop offered in collaboration with the Principals' Training Center (PTC), and will be run by Bambi Betts. Bambi has been a director, principal and teacher for over 30 years and has been a consultant in over 150 schools, conducting professional development sessions on a wide range of topics including assessment, curriculum leadership, teacher leader strategies, instructional strategies, faculty evaluation, and governance. I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Bambi and PTC.

As we begin work with the HAIS Teacher Representatives (TRs), our aim is to utilize them to help inform future professional development opportunities for our member schools. If you have not done so already, please provide us with the name of your schools' TR as soon as possible.
