2015 Schools of the Future Conference
This year's Schools of the Future Conference experienced record attendance, drawing over 1500 attendees. During the two day conference, Educators engaged in over 100 break-out sessions and enjoyed keynote speeches from Chris Lehmann, Mary Gordon, Dr. Kimberly Schonert-Reichl and Michele Weslander-Quaid. Undoubtedly, the Schools of the Future Conference provides a unique opportunity for public, charter and independent school educators to engage and collaborate around a common purpose.
The Conference gave me the opportunity to connect with potential partners, as HAIS continues to explore potential program and workshop opportunities for our member schools. In my mind, however, the biggest take-a-way was the message of promoting sustainability in our schools.
I would like to extend my gratitude to SOTF sponsors, attendees, speakers, committee members, volunteers, staff and all those who contributed to the success of this year's conference. Please visit the SOTF Website for updates on next year's conference, to be held on October 20-21.
