Transition to CVS Caremark for Prescriptions on Sept. 1

CVS Caremark replaces Express Scripts as Bon Secours' prescription provider on Sept. 1 for all employees covered by an Aetna Medical Plan. Here are some important details to know regarding this transition:
 |
Later this week, CVS Caremark will begin sending new cards to covered employees to use for their general medications.
| |
You may use any participating retail drugstore that is part of the CVS Caremark network, including Bon Secours retail pharmacies, as well as Walmart, Walgreens, Target, CVS and others.
| |
When you use a Bon Secours or CVS pharmacy, you will get an added benefit for maintenance drugs. You will receive a 3-month supply for just two co-pays, the same discount as if you used the CVS Caremark mail order pharmacy.
| |
While the overall prescription plan structure will not change, there could be differences in how medications are covered and the amount you will pay.
| |
Federal law requires all employers to provide coverage for certain contraceptive services. Since Bon Secours is a religious facility this mandated coverage is provided directly by CVS Caremark and Aetna. To receive a card to use for contraceptive prescriptions, participants will need to contact CVS Caremark at 1-888-924-8738.

Last Chance to Earn 2016 Wellness Incentives
Time is running out! Wednesday, Aug. 31, is your last chance to earn your 2016 Wellness Incentives. If you are currently covered by a 2016 Bon Secours Medical Plan, you are eligible to earn up to $900.
The wellness monies will be deposited in a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) for you to spend on qualified health expenses for you and family members who are tax dependents. Your HRA account balance will roll over to use for FY 2017 expenses too. The three Incentives you can earn are as follows:
 | Personal Health Assessment ($300) --- Complete both parts of the PHA including the biometric screening and the online wellness profile. For the online profile go to BonSecoursWellness.com. Complete the biometric screening by downloading a physician verification form and visiting your doctor, scheduling an on-site screening, or getting a voucher to go to a designated LabCorp facility. All three are found here. | | Healthy Weight Incentive ($300) --- Choose from several options to reduce or maintain your BMI at 27.50 or achieve a 10 percent weight loss as demonstrated by your PHA. | | Healthy Habits Incentive ($300) --- Choose from several options including logging steps, exercise, participation in a chronic disease management program, or smoking cessation program. You can track these on BonSecoursWellness.com. |
