We Need Volunteers

Photo of a volunteer at icann bike showing a girl how to ride a bicycle Want to bring a smile to a child's face? Bon Secours Richmond Hope Therapy needs 100 volunteers to help with iCan Bike, a camp for children with special needs, Aug. 8-12 at the University of Richmond.

During the week, campers will learn to ride regular bicycles ---  an activity that will help improve their confidence, self-esteem, social interactions with peers and physical fitness.

All you need is a decent pair of sneakers, a positive attitude and a willingness to help change the life of a very special child.

Open Enrollment Ends This Friday

You don't need to take any action if you do not have any changes to make. Your coverage will automatically roll over to the new Plan Year, which begins Sept. 1.

Although Plan changes are minimal, consider whether your current benefits are still the best choice. Learn more about your options.

From work, go to the Bon Secours home page on IRIS (the Bon Secours intranet) and click on ezAccess/AskHR under Quick Links. You must log in using your Bon Secours credentials.

From home, go to bshsi.org. Click on "For Employees" in the footer of the page. Then click on ezAccess/AskHR. You must log in using your Bon Secours credentials.

Football action is back at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Camp. Open practices kick off on Thursday, July 28 and run through Aug. 14.

Bon Secours Richmond facilities recently held rallies to build excitement for the Redskins' return.
The schedule features a total of 13 public, free, on-field sessions available to fans, highlighted by Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 13. Redskins players and coaches will be made available to sign autographs and take pictures with fans, schedules permitting.

Accepting Applications

Future Leaders! Our STRIDE program is accepting applications through Aug. 8. This development program is a great way to polish the skills you need to move into leadership positions. The application, recommendation template and other informational materials are located on IRIS on the Bon Secours Virginia Human Resources page.
