Make Your Choices During
Open Enrollment, July 11-29

Open Enrollment --- July 11-29 ---  is the time of year for employees to enroll in or make changes in Bon Secours benefit plans, so be sure to consider the options for your 2017 Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Plans.

You don't need to take any action if you do not have any changes to make. Your coverage will automatically roll over to the new Plan Year, which begins Sept. 1.

Key Dates:

Late JuneEnrollment materials mailed to employees.
July 11Open Enrollment begins.
July 29Last day to make changes for Plan Year 2017.
Aug. 31Last day to earn Wellness Incentives.
Sept. 1Plan Year 2017 begins Sept. 1, 2016. Any changes in benefits elections made during Open Enrollment take effect.

Although Plan changes are minimal, consider whether your current benefits are still the best choice.

green leaf bulletThe pharmacy vendor for Aetna plan participants will change to CVS Caremark on Sept. 1.
green leaf bulletPharmacy costs are rising sharply. While Bon Secours will continue to pay the majority of these costs, in 2017, all co-pays for non-preferred medications will be $75. There will be no physician-directed exceptions.
green leaf bulletThe additional premium charged to cover a spouse or legally domiciled adult (LDA) in the Medical Plan will increase to $15 per pay period. Spouses and LDAs average 25 percent higher medical costs than employees.
green leaf bulletEmployees who have an annual salary of $150,000 or greater currently pay an extra premium when enrolled in the Medical Plan. This premium will increase by $10 per pay period.

Your Key to Unlocking Info
from Home

Bon Secours has instituted a two-factor authentication process as an extra layer of security. Download this brochure for details on setting up two-factor authentication.

If you plan to enroll from home during Open Enrollment, you should set up this authentication in advance. If you don't, it could add up to 30 minutes or more to your enrollment process.

There is a self-service link where you can download the necessary VIP Access app on your own. For technical assistance contact the eISSC at 1-866-809-9259.

CVS Caremark

The pharmacy vendor for Aetna plan participants will change to CVS Caremark on Sept. 1. While the overall prescription plan structure will not change, there could be differences in how medications are covered and the amount that you will pay.

green leaf bulletPrior authorization: If you have a medication that requires prior authorization, ask your doctor to call the CVS Caremark Prior Authorization Department at 1-800-294-5979 (after July 11).
green leaf bulletMail order: When you use a Bon Secours Retail or the CVS Caremark Mail Order Pharmacy for your maintenance medications, you'll receive a 90-day supply for a 60-day price. Ask your doctor for a 90-day prescription with refills for up to one year. For more information, call 1-877-878-1668 (after July 11).
green leaf bulletSpecialty medications: CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy is designed for individuals with rare, complex or genetic conditions. For information, call 1-800-237-2767 (after July 11).

Enroll at ezAccess/AskHR

Start at ezAccess/AskHR. Log in using your Bon Secours credentials. Once you are logged in, you will click on "Open Enrollment" in My Benefits Enrollment, which is only visible July 11-29.

How Do I Find ezAccess/AskHR?

From work:
Go to the Bon Secours home page on IRIS (the Bon Secours intranet) and click on ezAccess/AskHR under Quick Links.

From home:
Go to bshsi.org. Click on "For Employees" in the footer of the page. Then click on ezAccess/AskHR. Note: You must have two-factor authentication to access ezAccess/AskHR from home.
