Engaged Employees Drive Quality Care
Why do we talk about Employee Engagement?
The connection between engaged employees and better clinical outcomes is absolute. Studies show that highly engaged employees outperform their disengaged colleagues by 20 to 28 percent.
At Bon Secours Virginia, we know this to be true. We have measurable examples of how our world-class employees are making a real difference and transforming patient care. From electronic medical records to evidence-based practices, employees are showing an increased commitment to this ministry.
As our engagement scores have risen, so has our quality, and that's essential to our mission.
Our goal is 100 percent participation
Your Responses are Anonymous
Please remember that your responses to this survey are anonymous and are kept completely confidential by the Gallup Organization.
To ensure confidentiality, all individual responses roll up into aggregated reports by work group, as well as by facility and system-wide. Each work group manager/supervisor who has five or more employees responding will receive a report of the aggregated survey results for their area.
Only 5 days left!
How Do I Participate?
It's easy! You can complete the survey using your telephone keypad to enter your answers. And, it's available for you to take 24 hours a day during the survey period.
You'll need the ID number that was mailed to your home earlier this month OR your Lawson ID number. If you have any questions, please ask your manager or call 866-888-6987.

anchor_01Good Help ---  and Fun ---  for Patients

Boxed Games Lindsey Brookmire, a student at Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, noticed during her practicum rotations at St. Mary's and Richmond Community hospitals, that puzzles, board and card games were often missing pieces and therefore were unused. She led a drive at her church to collect new board and card games so that the existing games could be replaced and available for patients to enjoy. Thanks to her efforts, Bon Secours now has 57 games, 16 decks of cards, 14 puzzles, and six magazines!
