Today is National Walking Day. Walking is a great way to include activity in your day --- it's free and perfect for any skill level. By committing to walk for at least 30 minutes, you can get healthier and raise awareness about the importance of being physically active. Check out these tips from the American Heart Association.

Taking the Class to the Student
The Employee Assistance Program, with partners Fidelity and the Virginia Credit Union, not only created the Wallet Wellness Challenge, but also in-person classes in Richmond. Earlier this year, EAP offered a series of 20-minute classes as part of Environmental Services' department meetings. According to follow-up surveys, the biggest takeaway for employees has been to establish an emergency fund. Find out what employees are saying.

Commitment Challenge Continues Through April 18!
185 Teams Part of Competition
Employees across Bon Secours have teamed up individually and with their Best Friends at Work to compete in the Bon Secours Commitment Challenge. At present, Bon Secours Kentucky is in the lead with about 303 points per employee.
In all there are 185 teams with 1,392 employees participating on these teams, along with hundreds of individuals earning points when they complete BonSecoursWellness.com activities.
There is still plenty of time to earn points on BonSecoursWellness.com between now and the end of the challenge on April 18. (You have until April 25 to complete logging in your points.) Be sure to log in each day. Check out special opportunities to earn points in the Points Vault section.
The teams with the most points will be celebrated across Bon Secours! Additionally, the local system with the most points (averaged by number of employees), wins the Commitment Cup trophy. Learn all the details in this flier.

Congratulations Stutts Leadership Award Recipients
The Stutts Leadership Award recognizes leaders in our organization, who are world class in promoting and supporting health and well-being within their teams and beyond. For 2016, this special award goes to:
 | Jennifer Whitesel, Technologist, Cardiology Associates, received the award for Hampton Roads. Her nominating colleagues said, "Jenni's daily energy and enthusiasm about wellness engaged our whole practice (both locations). She kept wellness suggestions coming our way in fun and creative ways." |
