Wallet Wellness icon 3 Great Reasons to Sign Up for Wallet Wellness

Our Wallet Wellness Challenge starts in April, and you won't want to miss this free new program offered through our Employee Assistance Program.

Here are three great reasons to sign up:

 1.  This six-week online class offers valuable, down-to-earth advice to help anyone save more money. EAP has teamed up with Virginia Credit Union and Fidelity to offer excellent tips for creating a budget, paying for health care expenses, saving for retirement and making the most of your Bon Secours resources.
 2.  You can watch the 30-minute sessions at your convenience. Because it's all online and you have a week to participate, Wallet Wellness is perfect for any schedule.
 3.  You could win a great prize! Just participate in the weekly webinars and five-question quizzes. Each week there will be a drawing. Complete all six challenges and be entered to win an Apple iPad mini!

Sign up by April 8. Email your name and Lawson number to Karen Landrum. Classes begin April 11.

Taking the Class to the Student

The Employee Assistance Program, with partners Fidelity and the Virginia Credit Union, not only created the Wallet Wellness Challenge, but also in-person classes in Richmond. Earlier this year, EAP offered a series of 20-minute classes as part of Environmental Services' department meetings. According to follow-up surveys, the biggest takeaway for employees has been to establish an emergency fund. Find out what employees are saying.
