Good Place to Grow
Just Wage Remains Part of
Bon Secours' Identity
At Bon Secours Health System, paying a Just Wage is an integral part of our Roman Catholic health care identity and reflects our values of respect, compassion and justice for our employees. When BSHSI first implemented Just Wage in 2006, the concept was then woven into our Compensation Philosophy, which governs how we pay our employees. Because Just Wage is based on geographical factors specific to each local system, each year a comprehensive analysis is completed to ensure that Just Wage rates for each local system are still appropriate.
Effective Aug. 23, the new BSHSI-wide Just Wage will increase to $11 system-wide. In addition, equity adjustments will be provided for employees whose base rate of pay falls between $11 and $11.99. Employees currently in that range will receive up to a 2 percent increase in pay, not to exceed $12 an hour. These changes will impact about 2,500 employees throughout BSHSI beginning with the first paycheck in September.

Defend Your Data

In response to the recent increase in security threats and hacking attempts around the world, BSHSI is implementing a two-factor authentication process to help secure remote access to its information systems when employees are at home or outside a Bon Secours facility.

In addition to username and password, the new layer of security requires a dynamic (changing) six-digit code, which makes it harder for potential intruders to gain unauthorized access. Every time you access our systems while on VPN or off the Bon Secours network, you will need a six-digit code to log on.

Expect to encounter our new authentication process when accessing any of the following resources remotely:
