Celebrate National Walking Day!

Sharon Ledder, manager, Mary Immaculate Heart & Vascular Institute, put together a relay to celebrate the American Heart Association's annual Walking Day on April 1. She asked leaders to send representatives so that there would be walkers on our outdoor trail from noon to 2 p.m. There were quite a few walkers and the trail was never empty!

National Walking Day Shared Services Team Ledder outfitted participants with pompoms, bubbles and noise makers to make the walk a bit more fun. Some employees raised the stakes by timing themselves on the loop and seeing which employee in the department had the fastest time.
