Hot Job of The Month : Director of Business Development (Expat)
A challenging role overseeing a growing portfolio of boutique properties.
Our client is a 5* Resort in Bali with +/-50 Villas and 1 F&B outlet. Our client is also developing a second resort with 100+ units scheduled to launch mid 2013. This (Cluster) role will oversee the current operation and pre-opening 2nd resort and further properties being added (at this stage, 2 more properties are scheduled for 2014/2015).
The ideal candidate will at least have 2 years experience in similar positions or as Director of Sales & Marketing or Director of Sales of similar Luxury Boutique environments. Previous experience in 4* or 5* international chain hotels, previous resort experience and proven record in leisure sales.
Wide network of contacts in Asia Pacific and will be able to adapt well to the local culture.
For this position, a very skilled local Indonesian candidate will also be considered.

You will search for and source potential candidates through various sources, headhunt, screen job applications & interview candidates. You will check references, guide candidates through the recruitment process & maintain a very organized system on all searches in progress.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Higher degree in hospitality/hotel/tourism
- Minimum 3 years working experience in hospitality industry
- Previous experience in HR and/or Training in hospitality industry preferred
- Good understanding of Indonesian hospitality market
- Excellent administrative skills, well organized, attention to detail, ability to perform well under pressure, ability to work independently, doesn't mind to go the extra mile when needed, able to keep confidentiality
- Attentive, polite, professional appearance, punctual, outgoing personality, excellent social skills, proactive, flexible, polyvalent, team player
- Computer literate
