Here is Adam who fished this afternoon with Neil and Steve.  Adam landed this 24" on a Bullhead here at port Sonoma from Shore!

We pride ourselves with having the freshest bait on the bay.  As the only bait shop on the bay with their own shrimp boat we can live up to that claim.  We are open 365 days a year at 6:30am.  Come on down and say hi to a friendly face.

• ***Petaluma River***: The Striper bite is still good.  Try to fish the tides that have lots of water moving.  The slower tides early in the week didn't produce many fish.  A customer just came back for more Bullheads after catching 5+ fish over on the Black Point side of the river this morning and was getting more bait for tomorrow morning because the bite was that good for him today.  Sharks are still being caught in our area.  I had a Bullhead bitten in half while fishing the mouth of the river on Sunday.  
• Napa River:  Mike Hiteshew from Vallejo says that the Striper bite has been just as good in his area on Bullheads also. Sturgeon bite has been more toward the lower end of the river.  With rain being predicted in our near future we can assume the bite bite switch to turn on! 
• Sonoma Creek: We had a report today of a Sturgeon being caught here on Anchovie and a good ol' fashioned Chinkedero! (pic's to come) When the Sturgeon are around Sonoma Creek produces a lot of fish.  his is our wildcard location of the week.       
• San Pablo Bay: Sharks galore!  Nice Leopards and 7gils.  Live Bullheads, Frozen Bullheads, Midshipmen, Squid, anchovies, stickpickle (poor man's eel).  Anything that is stinky does the trick.  There have been Bass and Sturgeon as well when the Sharks don't get to it first. 

• Bait: Ghost Shrimp will be in this week!!!  In addition we have plenty of Grass Shrimp, Bullheads and Mudsuckers!
• Football: Don't let the Football games stop you from fishing on Sundays!  You can pull up Veetle.com on your smart phone or CPU and stream games live.  Veetle is a website that streams TV channels.  If you have Direct TV download their App or The Website itself to your phone and watch games that way.  I am speaking from experience here folks this is what I do to not miss my team or any game when I have an itching to go fishing.

• Low Tides: We recommend that you do not try to boat into our slough right now unless it is high tide.  The mud is pretty thick and if you can just stop by before you launch.  We hate to see you guys mess up your engine kicking up mud on the bottom of a tide.  Until they dredge you gotta drive here before you launch.
